    I received it very quickly and it was packaged well. One issue did arise when I went to install the exhaust, an hour and a half was wasted trying to get it to line up correctly. After doing some measuring I found out that the incorrect midpipes were shipped with the kit. The midpipes should be 18″ long and I was shipped 24″ length. After finding this out I was able to resolve the issue with both American Muscle and Stainless Works. I cut the midpipes I received down to size as I am impatient and couldn’t wait to have the system installed but Stainless Works is overnighting the correct size pipes to me. I couldn’t be happier with this exhaust system. I had Corsa Xtreme installed previously and was not a fan of the rasp. The Stainless Works exhaust has a much deeper, high quality rumble tone.

    Exhaust came in 3 days earlier than expected. Love it. Pulled them out of the box, and one of the cutted sides of a muffler was bent; nothing too troublesome, just bent the tube back to it’s shape. Simple to install, but transferring the active exhaust feature over was a slight hassle. There was a nut hard to get to when installing the active exhaust system on the new exhaust. Turned the car on, and wow… what a noise. Not as deep as you would hear from a 289 cu. but wow, THAT is muscle. Tone is insane, loud on cold-starts, and rumbles well on idle; nothing too obnoxious, until you hit full throttle, and just sounds like a lion roaring in my ears. Quiet mode does not exist anymore with this exhaust. You turn on quiet mode, and your neighbors still going to hate you, for sure it is quieter, but still enough to wake a few people. Stainless works did absolutely amazing making this for the 2018s and up mustangs. Can’t wait to see and hear when I get SW headers next. Pray for me, my neighbors already don’t like me…
