Headlights gives a rejuvenated feeling on old dependable here. Compliments were immediately said of how nice those light were. Easy to install and happy with the choice made to purchase.

I just bought these for my 2004 Ford F-150 and they look and work awesome. My only complaints are that the instructions were very unclear, there is no such thing as the 2 red wires on the light. I ended up doing a lot of various splices for a couple hours and here’s what I found out. The 4 wires on the back are split into 2 separate sides and you need to splice 2 sets of 2 wires (one wire from each side of housing) to get the halos and DRLs to work. If you hook up the wires together on the same side (example: blue to black on left of housing, black/black on right) it will not work. Be careful, the unit does scratch easy, as it is made with cheaper plastic. Other than that, this is a great budget LED for this truck and I recommend it to others.

These headlamps look great! Have had a several compliments on these. Installation was a little over an hour. Would have given an overall five star review. After both sets were installed and tested the lights, found one of the brights was not working. Removed the housing to find one of the pins not seated into the plug. Seated pin and all lights worked as they should.

I love the lights. There was a concern but American Trucks took care of it right away!! The options for time to install were limited. Maybe a couple of hours max.

  5. LucasW

I installed these in about an hour (with my 4 year old helping) pretty simple. I did put a bead of silicone all around them to prevent any moisture.

  6. Philazf150

I really like the way these look on the truck. I don’t feel the lows are much brighter than my old yellowed from age factory lenses. I agree with others that said instructions lacking for extra wires but I figure it out. Also it would be nice if all the parking lights and turn signals were LED bulbs but not a big issue. I will keep them but if I had to do it over again I would look for some brighter ones.

Replaced my old clouded headlights with these projectors. Easy to install, high beams are nice and bright and the projectors work well for the lows. Gives the old truck a nice fresh look.

I purchased these for myself for Christmas and finally got around to putting them on my Truck. The install was very simple. Only thing that took a bit of skill/know how was tapping into the running light wires to get the extra running lights to work. The thing I really do not like though is the aim of the high beams. They adjust just like the stock Ford Headlights but when I got the regular beams lined up the high beams are way off. I thought maybe the bulb was upside down but that is not possible only goes in one way. They do illuminate the road well. The top edge of the light beam is quite sharp. I just wish the quality would have been there.

It took me about 20 min a light. I used wire nuts for the splice you have to do in the wiring, note that it’s very short so you will have to cut about 4-5 inches of tape back to plug in the amber led. But if you have the crimp splice it would be so much easier. Other than that, they look and make my truck new again!

Looks great but lights are junk.. Cannot adjust low and high beams where they need to be
