The Nitto NT555 G2 features multiple tread innovations that make it a best-in-class performance tire. Twin center ribs provide better dry traction and straight-line stability. Large tapered blocks increase grip and cornering stability, and circumferential grooves aid in water evacuation and wet handling. High-Silica Compound. Nitto NT555 G2 Tires are made using a proprietary high-silica compound. Nitto uses a special bonding agent during their manufacturing process to increase the interaction between the base compound elements to further reinforce their chemical bonds. This specialized bonding agent helps create a tire with a higher compound stiffness which results in better cornering performance in both wet and dry conditions. Application. The NITTO NT555 G2 Ultra High Performance Tire is designed for all 1979-2024 Ford Mustangs.

    I read so many bad things about the g2 but I wasn’t expecting good traction on 1st gear with tc off and the car on drag mode ! The car didn’t spin at all definitely changed the way my car used to handle with the stock 235. Definitely worth it !

    I was hesitant to put an aggressive tread pattern on my 2005 Mustang. I love performance, but I also love how the car drives and rides. The experts at AM promised this tire would not take much away from the ride or add noise and they were right. The look great on the car too!

    Great tires for a great price. If you’re looking for a tire that can be driven on the street and the track, this tire is for you. Great for a stock to lightly modified car. When you get the tires you will notice as you role them around the rubber picks up everything. Definitely sticky. Highly recommend.
