Nitto NT555 G2 Tires are made using a proprietary silica compound. Nitto uses a special bonding agent during their manufacturing process to increase the interaction between the base compound elements to further reinforce their chemical bonds. This specialized bonding agent helps create a tire with a higher compound stiffness which results in better cornering performance in both wet and dry conditions.Excellent Handling. The Nitto NT555 G2 features an all new directional tread pattern with twin center ribs and larger tapered tread blocks for excellent dry traction as well as increased cornering and straight-line stability. The Nitto NT555 G2’s tread pattern not only provides excellent handling to your ride, but also adds a great aggressive appearance to the look of your Mustang.Wet Weather Performance. The four circumferential center grooves and the lateral shoulder grooves of the Nitto NT555 G2 Tire effectively channel water from the contact patch to provide greater wet weather traction. The reinforced shoulder tread blocks of the NT555 G2 are designed improve both wet and dry cornering grip. This combination of grooves and tread blocks help to greatly reduce the possibility of hydroplaning.Application.     I have these on my stock 2016 5.0 and I like them. Good summer tire and hook considerably more than the stock pizza cutters. 255/35R20 – F; 285/35/R20 – R. Traction on normal driving is 5 star. Traction while driving hard 4- drag, 4- hard turns.

    I needed an extra set of tires to hit the drag strip and I really liked the design on these. Traction doesn’t seem to be an issue but I know it’s to early to tell. I would definitely recommend these tires to any one who drives as much as I do.

    Great tires for a great price. If you’re looking for a tire that can be driven on the street and the track, this tire is for you. Great for a stock to lightly modified car. When you get the tires you will notice as you role them around the rubber picks up everything. Definitely sticky. Highly recommend.
