    This system went together like a dream. Hangers lined up perfectly and directions told me exactly what length to cut the intermediate pipe for my truck’s configuration. Sound is just what I wanted… nice grumble at idle with some attitude when revved.

    I love this exhaust, it sounds really great, not too too loud, great tone, not over the top, and very easy to install, only took about 45 minutes and didn’t even use the lift. However, my only complaint was the drone it has, it’s really not THAT bad, but still more than I was hoping for. I ended up buying a 3in MBRP resonator, which quieted down the exhaust a bit, and gave it a deeper and slightly less raspy tone. Mainly however, it just about entirely eliminated any drone it had before. The resonator itself only costs about $100, and you can just trim a section off of the extension pipe this system comes with to make it fit (you will just need one extra 3in clamp)

    I listened to a ton of video clips trying to pin down the sound I was looking for, which was a low, rubble, growl without the pop, pop, pop. This MBRP exhaust system provided exactly what I was looking for. Loud enough, but not too loud. Very easy install. Excellent parts quality. Definitely recommend to others.

    Tempted to give only 3 stars but the build quality brings it up to 4. The welds were very nice and the entire system feels very well built. The sound is a really nice deep tone and sounds exactly like you want a V8 truck to sound, the downside is the cabin drone. Around 2000 RPM on the freeway the drone is almost unbearable. Install was simple and about what you would expect from a cat back exhaust. Pros : deep tone, build quality, easy install, fair price Cons: Drone, instructions could be better

    I was looking for a muffler swap but it wasn’t proving easy on a 2020 F150 5.0 so I went with the cat back system. I gave it 3 stars on price just because a muffler is a lot cheaper but this system is 409 stainless as advertised and gave me exactly the sound I was looking for. It’s fun to punch the gas around town and rumbles nicely when it starts but once i’m on the highway there is just a subtle drone. This is exactly the sound I was hoping for. I just wanted to be able to hear my 5.0 and let the fellas at work know I got my motor from the men’s department without annoying my wife or being too flashy. I like clean and simple styles, but with class, and that is exactly what I got with this system. It took 1-1/12 hours to block it up, drop the old, and install the new. Made the cut I needed with a metabo and the one trick is to drop the hanger above the axle when connecting the “over axle and exit pieces”. I bet I could do again in less than 30 minutes total!

    100% happy with this setup. It’s not obnoxiously loud and it’s not super quiet. Definitely love the low aggressive tone. Cruising down the highway at 75 there is little to no drone in the cab. And if you have the radio on you’ll barely hear the exhaust. Hands down my favorite exhaust. It’s the right setup if you don’t want something supper loud but also want people to hear it when you get on the gas.

    Fairly easy install, note: drop the spare tire and shield before removing stock system, makes an easier removal. Lots of DRONE at 1500-2000rpm. If I had to suggest an exhaust system…this wouldnt be my first recommendation. Sound is a little too aggressive/loud for me, need something with a lower rumble.
