Very nice tone with factory resonator very deep and with a traditional American V8 sound. The system with valve closed is very quiet on the highway and the quality is of course top notch.

This is the best sounding exhaust I have ever bought. Previously, I have had roush mustang, which sounded amazing, roush duals on an ’07 (5.4) that sounded like crud, flowmaster super 10’s on a ’13 (5.0), and magnaflow’s on the ’13 (5.0) as well. The roush kit on the 5.4 engine did NOT sound good- more than likely cause that engine was not the same animal as the 5.0’s. My 5.0 w/ super 10’s was obnoxious (lol)! Then, the magnaflow’s were pretty tame. This roush active kit is awesome! Nice crackle when you gas it hard, and no drone cruising.

Been 7-8 months since installation. Exhaust vibrates and sounds like it’s about to fall off the truck when in gear at a stop after being driven for a while. The exhaust has the sound and loudness when activated, but vibration noise negates the good of the system. The exhaust tip clamps must be tightened so much the connecter bracket is not easily positioned to work properly. Most aspects of the system are as advertised, the installation instructions are not up to date for my 2020 F150 and the pics don’t match the truck.
