Instructions were clear and easy to understand. Definitely notice better throttle response
RyanM –
Great product, easy to install, gained Hp an some Mpg and better throttle response, just wish the heat shield hole that the pipe goes through was smaller or had some type of weather strip to close the gap
MickeyS –
It fit perfectly, very easy to install and I love the way my truck sounds.

Easy install, took a little over an hour. 1-2 miles per gallon better mileage, better sound. Had a little whistle when first installed, but went away after driving for about 2 hours. Totally satisfied with the purchase.

Everything about this particular cold air intake was top notch, except for the adapter that comes with it that relocates your throttle body. When I finished putting everything together and started my truck I was getting a god awful high pitch humming sound from right around the throttle body. Found out that the included gasket between the throttle body and the elbow adapter was causing a bad air leak because the rather thin plastic on the adapter begins to bend as soon as you put any torque to it at all. I ended up using some Permatex RTV silicone gasket maker on the top of the elbow between it and the throttle body, as well as between the elbow and the intake manifold. Once I did that and let it cure for 24 hours I was in business, no more leak. In addition where the throttle body is mated to the elbow I added some nuts to the back side of the bolt for extra strength as it did not come with any. In the end I was very happy with the new intake. Looks great in the engine compartment and opened up lots of space to access the motor. Truck seems to get up to speed a little quicker without any additional effort. If KandN can figure out a better way with the elbow so that there are no air leaks I would definitely have given it 5 stars.

I previously had a simple version with a filter and new air horn with the original air box remaining in place. It did well, but this is well worth the time and effort to get a better response and another 1 mpg increase for my HD edition F150. The kit moves the throttle body up off the intake and puts it on the curved riser in the kit. The overall assembly is fairly straight forward, if you lay out all the parts and remain organized. The growl on WOT is reminiscent of the old qudrajet carbs, I love it. There is a whistle through the filter around the 2000 rpm range. You get used to it. Overall, I am happy with the kit. It helps clean up the engine bay with less bulky items. I recommend it if you don’t care about chrome flashy air tubes.

Great part. Easy installation. Gave me f150 a little more hp and sounds awesome.

It defiantly adds power and throttle response. I have to add that it is so much louder and I could do without that at my age.

The intake arrived promptly. I unboxed it and laid it all out. I read over instructions once and began installation. It took 90 minutes start to finish. Absolutely no problems at all. It makes a difference you can tell. More giddy up and the sound is awesome. I highly recommend this product.
