    Love the sound and that’s about it! My truck is super crew with 6.5′ bed and needed the extension tube needed trimmed. The description said it would fit, which it did but needed modifications. First, the extension pipe wouldn’t slide into the muffler without being bent and then hammered in. Next, after being bolted to the cat. converter and the muffler hung WITH the extension pipe it wouldn’t slide together. Had to trim the pipe that was bolted to the cat. A couple modifications, parts not fitting together, and taking a 1 hour project into a 4 hour made this a 3 star. The shipping, sound of the exhaust, ease of buying, and not having to move the hangers carry this product.

    It was pretty straightforward. Had to move the middle mount and re drill a tap to frame. Looks good and sounds good.

    Watched many review videos and sound clips of this exhaust. They do no justice compared to seeing it in person. It really brought my ecoboost to a different level. It has a deep rumble and sound when flooring it. I am really impressed with it overall. For the price i cant complain. Flowmaster really did a great job with the fx series. Installation was easy make sure you have penetrating oil because that saved alot of time removing the exhaust. Also if your truck is not lifted and your trying to save the old exhaust you will have to jack lift your truck to remove your old exhaust out in one piece. Took about a hour to do the whole job. To make it easier for you removing the old exhaust, use jack stands to hold up the exhaust while unbolting the exhaust and remove the gromits that hold the exhaust in place, it makes it easier to get the whole system out. Anyone looking for a upgrade and dont want to spend 700 to a grand for a exhaust get this exhaust money well spent.

    Installed on 2010 F150 5.4L I’m going to give it 5stars but the clamps deserve 3stars! Longest part of the project was removing the old exhaust. Package arrived damaged (fedex is the worst) small dent on turndown pipe but you’ll never see it luckily so I went ahead with install. Instructions provided by Flowmaster were detailed and easy to follow. I over engineer things so I added blue loctite to flange bolts. Clamp did not tighten enough to prevent small exhaust leak and liquid drip. I’ll be running a bead of weld tomorrow around junction where extension pipe and muffler pipe join. The Flow FX Extreme is much louder than I anticipated. I watched many videos and they all stated it was pretty quiet. I’m not complaining on the sound, it makes the F150 liven up and sound like a real truck. Matches it’s lifted attitude now!

    Easy and light to install removing stock exhaust is a pain but easy if cut into smaller sections.
