Best sounding five liter this side of heaven. Was able to tuck the tips nicely under the bed. Looks like a billion bucks.

Fits properly, doesn,t doesn,t growl like some systems, but is sounds like a perfectly tuned instrument on the coyote engine. Glad I spent the extra money. One hint on install don,t waste your time trying to get the OE pipe one the rear axel..CUTT IT OFF!!! You won,t need it any more, once you hear the Borla.KB

I was torn between the Borla Touring and S-Type exhausts, and went with the Touring. I’ve had the K&N exhaust installed and have loved it, but it was a little too loud and caused quite a bit of drone since it eliminates the resonator. If I wasn’t often carting “non-car people” around I would have left it, but friends and family found the K&N exhaust annoying. I can’t speak to the S-Type since I haven’t heard it in person, but after installing the Borla Touring I can say I am definitely impressed with the quality of the exhaust. Not sure if it is worth the price (it’s over twice as expensive as the K&N exhaust), but I have no complaints about quality and/or fitment, and it looks great. As far as sound, I’d probably rank it 1 out of 5 on the “loudness” scale; it really is just a notch up from stock. It has a good tone, but the average person who doesn’t care about cars probably wouldn’t be able to tell that it’s an aftermarket exhaust (maybe apart from the dual tips). Thankfully, that’s kind of what I was going for given the variety of people I drive around and the proximity of my neighbors (Grandma doesn’t want to have to shout over the drone of a loud exhaust). For that purpose, this exhaust is perfect. Cold starts are just a touch louder than the stock exhaust, so my neighbors don’t mind it at all, and there is absolutely no drone in the cabin at any speed/rpm (so I don’t feel like a hooligan while driving my grandparents or in-laws around lol). Overall, it seems like a great option for someone like me who just can’t live with keeping the stock exhaust, but also doesn’t want to drive around in a truck that’s going to annoy other people or attract unwanted attention. As a side note: the Borla exhaust retains some of the original hardware from the stock exhaust ( mainly the bolts for the ball and socket joint on the resonator portion of the exhaust). I wasn’t aware of this, and unfortunately no longer had those bolts because I was coming from the K&N exhaust, which utilizes new hardware for that connection. So I had to go out and find the correct sized bolts for it. I would have preferred if Borla would just provide new bolts for that connection, especially since the original hardware can be difficult to remove if it’s been sitting for a while.

It’s exactly what I wanted. For me that was an exhaust that sounded great but didn’t wake the neighborhood and was quiet while cruising. Exhaust note is low growl. You’ll hear it starting up cold and or when you get at it but is minimal otherwise. Will be great for long trips. Not cheap but is high quality.

This exhaust is the best fit for the F-150 if you’re wanting a fine tuned, tight exhaust note. I first tried the S-type Borla & returned it. It was too loud and had a bit of back-rumble on deceleration. I’m 60 and wanted something to sound “tuned” and not loud. The Borla Touring is the closest thing you’ll find to the stock sound of a high performance car.

Had a cheap system I bought on Amazon and ran for a couple of years, not bad for the money. Wanted to upgrade and this was on sale. Also didn’t want something droney AKA Flowmaster. The quality and materials on this system are outstanding and the sound is about the same as stock. Performance wise I have a S&B intake,Edge tuner and this exhaust. My gas mileage is the same and can’t tell any increase in power. Ford did a pretty good job with the 5.0 so there is not a lot of room for improvement like the 3.5 ecoboost. Anyway it looks good is made very well and an easy install. Nuff said!
