    Great sound and quality made product. Seemed to give the truck a little more mid range pull.

    Installation took about 30 minutes including tool set up and clean up, definitely a more distinctive sound, engine temps are still good, theory is more cold are in and more hot air out the better everything is. This set up by looks alone is a more straight line bigger flow of air from the air box to the engine so one step complete, now onto getting hot air out of the engine more efficiently. Definitely recommend, don’t know about any HP or MPG boost it’s been on my truck for an hour and I don’t expect very many but in the long and grand scheme of things going on under the hood it should definitely help with getting more air to the engine so I can continue to add components.

    Took les than 20 minute before I was taking the truck for a test drive to check out the sound and performance. Fit isn’t perfect on the air box base but nothing that isn’t acceptable by my standards

    Buying this I was confident in the whipple name. However after owning an air raid, the difference of quality was blatant. The biggest sore was the IAT probe grommet. This was annoyingly difficult to install. Then there was the extra part, that was not associated with my vehicle model year. And lastly fit of the upper to lower intake box. I had to bend the tab in order for proper fit to be established. While the CAI is going to work, and does look good, it is the small things that other companies didn’t/don’t overlook. There is as expected a slight change in power, but nothing crazy. MPG is un checked. Overall if you can deal with the little things, it’s not bad. I just had my expectations of a company like whipple to be not met.

    Once my Whipple Cold Air intake came in, I opened the hood. It was super easy to take out the factory’s air intake. My Whipple Cold Air Intake this was just as easy!! That is point it’s too soon to rate performance gain.

    Went together easy. Haven’t notice any mpg gains. Can fill little bit more throttle response and a little bit more Turbo noise.
