    Was pretty easy to install and work great. Read some reviews about having to re-use the screw was accurate.

    The new intake arrived missing the screw to hold the pressure sensor in place. When I called Spectre they said “Sorry, we can’t send you one because that part has been discontinued.” What? Not a big deal to buy a screw at the hardware store, but why can’t they include it? As several others have mentioned, the new box does not fit perfectly. Some window/door seal was needed to finish the installation. I guess you get what you pay for.

    Overall, this gave me a slight increase in power and a more responsive feel in the throttle. Don’t expect crazy gains, but it’s definitely noticeable and I like it. I gave the fitment 4 stars because the screw they include for the sensor won’t work, so you’ll have to go buy a different screw. I did also have to modify the housing slightly by cutting and adding foam to the bottom so that the unit was tight and secure without rattling. Other than that, it’s pretty straight forward to put together and takes maybe 30 minutes to an hour to install depending on your familiarity.

    This is a good entry level CAI kit. The instructions were well laid out, (even though I didn’t really need them). The overall fit was not bad, I would’ve even gone with 5 stars but the aluminum collar where the sensor placement is was an issue. The included screw in the kit is no where near long enough nor big enough to keep the sensor held down. I had to use a zip tie to hold the sensor in place until I could get to a hardware store to find a better screw/ fastener replacement. (Yes, the zip tie option works but I don’t trust it to stay in place long term.)

    30min install was actually 45min due to the supplied screw for sensor was nowhere near suitable. Dug around garage stuff and found a suitable replacement screw.

    Fitment was good. Installation was easy, maybe 25 minutes. Make sure to clean oil from filter where it meets box and rough with sand paper so as to prevent filter from slipping off.
