    I chose this product because it advertised it came with preloaded tunes and the ability to correct tire size. I ordered it in July. When I received it, it did not have any preloaded tunes. I went through their trouble shooting guide and contacted the tech support. Tech support took 4 months to send me an update. The update had preloaded tunes, however it still did not have tire size. Tech support doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing, so i tried to return it. Well, they won’t except the rest because it’s outside of the 30 day window, even though I followed THEIR troubleshooting guide. Big waste of money.

    The SCT X4 is a great product with a lot of flexibility to tune your truck. I love mine and it has really awoken my truck and is also a great additional gauge to monitor different things on the vehicle. With that being said. If I could do it again, I would purchase from another retailer that offers custom tunes with the X4 unit. The “pre-loaded” tunes that the unit comes stock with do not do much for your vehicle. Other retailers offer the tuner for the same price but with at least 1 custom tune from a major tuning company.
