    2012 F150 3.5 EcoBoost bone stock other than this tune- I’ve had this only a couple days. I had some challenges getting the device updater software to work. In fairness it worked better once I made some updates to my computer. But I haven’t had issues with any other software previously with that same computer. In the meantime while trying to update the tuner firmware before the software was working consistently, the device got stuck. I had to call SCT and it took about an hour to get a rep. Once I had him, he was able to unlock the device and update the firmware in about 10 minutes. I loaded the 87 Octane tune. I noticed subtle yet very obvious performance gains. Most noticeably stronger and more smooth lowend torque. This made driving easier, more satisfying, and most importantly improved how the cruise control performs over rolling hills which is one of my major beefs with the stock. There is no more lagging, sagging, slowing down etc. Overall I’m pretty impressed with performance given that I’m using the lowest tune. I haven’t driven it enough to give a legit MPG comment. But so far, about 50 miles, it seems about the same. This combined with the performance improvement of the lowest tune is reason enough for me to give this a 5 star rating…. BUT…I ordered an MPT tune and it was delivered very timely. I loaded it to the device with seemingly no problem. When I went to my truck and plugged it in, I now have the same communication error that stuck the device before. So now I have to commit another 2 hours of time between 9-6 EST M-F to get this resolved with SCT. I have no doubt that they will fix it once I get a rep. But for the time I’ve spent getting this tuner to work, I feel like they owe me money. And by the way I’m very capable with computers and know what to expect. Thus I’m giving an overall rating of 4 stars. But, I would say the tunes themselves are worthy of a 5 for a relatively easy and cheap bang for the buck performance upgrade. And I’m looking very forward to trying out the higher tunes.

    Plugged it in, used factory tunes. Don’t really notice any upgraded performance, no increase in mpg.

    Does well on fuel gain three miles to a gallon was getting 12.6 now 15.4

    User friendly programming, stock to tuned power is felt at the moment you step on the pedal. Fuel consumption increment by 2mpg.

    This was very easy to setup and tune my truck. Definite increase in power and definitely gas mileage as I saw a 3mpg increase immediately. The truck takes off faster, has more power when pressing that pedal and overall performance is much better and noticeable. Very happy with my purchase.

    Needed a tune for the JLT CAI. This was quick and easy. Has many uses and I have used this style before. Wish it worked with apple computers. But haven’t found any that do.
