The CAI works well. I have a 19 F150 with the 5.0. It’s not a 5star due to it having a constant whistle and the side spouts are too thick. The lines attach but they aren’t right. I’m thinking about tape due to the fitment. I’ve had others that whistle at low rpm but this one has a high pitch whistle when you apply the gas at any point. Much louder engine roar also. If you pair it with exhaust, your neighbors will hate you. (This guy). I’ve gained about 1mpg in town. Overall, not a bad buy but if I did it again I would go for an S&B closed box. More cost but better fit, no whistle and similar benefit.

I installed the Rough Country cold air intake in the driveway last night. I pre assembled the air box on the work bench. Everything fit great, no missing parts and fit and finish was just as good as K&N intakes I have had in the past. Noticed a little more growl from the Masterflow exhaust and a slight wine when pressing the gas which the windows down. Didn’t really hear the wine with the windows up. I noticed a little more throttle response and a little more torque.

For the price, not a bad Intake, there was some things that need to be taken care of when installing the pipe, and heat shield, the bands for the throttle side make sure bottom band in on Etorque side and top band is on the left side, they will fit that way, just tight with Etorque Plug. Air sensor just sits in a rubber gasket not much keeping it in place, Vaccum pipe is a tight fit. Heat shield for mine had to be bent just a little for the hood strut to go past and not run into it. And my kit was missing the rubber gasket for the top of the shield. Other than that pretty decent set up.

Very well built product that really wakes the truck up. no more throttle lag and gives the truck a great sound. Absolutely an excellent buy and would purchase again. Slight increase in fuel mileage, some is better then none.

The box it came in was ripped and damaged. It had scratches and small dents so I wrapped it with Exhaust Heat Wrap. It wasn’t tuff to install and I don’t work a lot on trucks. I am completely satisfied with this product. My truck never sounded so good.

The fitment takes a little while to adjust and get right but budget friendly option. Hose clamps could use some improvements tho.
