When i first bought my truck, i ordered the Rough Country LED bar from AmericanTruck. It is a 4LED tall bar and it was super bright and looked great. My tailgate came down and damaged the bar and half of it stopped working. I had to remove it from the truck and send it back to AmericanTruck. I left the vampire clips in my wiring harness and left some leads from the Rough Country to connect to when my new bar came. Enter the Raxiom. This bar is less tall and fully clears my tailgate. I tried to wire it up underneath the truck to the existing wiring i had from my Rough Country bar and i couldnt get it to work. I ended up using the 4Pin trailer connection and wrapped it with black electrical tape so it wouldnt be noticable. I wired up the reverse lights to the taillight on the driver’s side and FINALLY, everything works! Took me long to install this just because i was tinkering with wiring (the colors didnt match up to the Rough Country wiring). Pros: i like the build. Seems sturdy and clears where my tailgate goes down. Cons: not as bright as the Rough Country. Not as much 3m adhesive either. Instead of the entire bar being 3m, there are only 4 adhesive strips.

The light bar is great and relatively easy to install and hard wire, however the truck now thinks that I have a trailer connected so it disabled the parking sensors and the back up lines in the camera.

I wired up mine to each of the tail lights for L/R signal etc. No trailer warnings of course w/ this method as I was fearful of on 2018 F150 XLT I got an open box for a great price albeit it came w/ a significant bend in it and an already cut-off trailer adapter which I didn’t mind. Bent right back, wired right up and looks amazing! Not bright like those cheaper options but I wanted the subtle look. I’ll get a picture up some night when they’re on.

Easy to install works GREAT go lad I got it took a little longer too TN see tall I went the splice it in to the harness w was y so it took a while but no issues.

Bought this for my 2019 F150 and did end up hard wiring under the truck where the tail lights come together at the trailer hitch. Works perfectly.

This is my 3rd attempt to find a light bar that actually worked-and these do! They were packaged well and easily installed. Functions: left right running brake and backup ( illuminates a white light in addition to the red) looks good

Super easy install! However even though I wired it correctly (years of electrical experience) the orange signal lights illuminated when brakes were applied. There were also several diodes that did not light.
