2 bars both failed after 2 months. 1st causes electrical short to truck reverse lights, uninstalled light bar and it fixes itself. 2nd went dim and right turn signal went out. also had caused truck’s computer to trip and not send power to reverse lights and had to be rest by a Ford Dealership.

The tailgate light bar really stands out. easy to install. For once the wires were long enough to go under the bottom of the bed. Great JOB!

It’s plug and play except for the reverse lights. You need to splice into them. Im an electrician so no big deal but others might not be so happy. They look fantastic.

So, I pulled the instructions out of the box trying to get a sense of how long it would take to install. The instructions are black and white. The install requires wiring. I paid about $250 for a light bar that doesn’t come with color-printed wiring instructions. I guess I’ll connect the grey wire to the other slightly less grey wire… yall can do better.

Great light. Love the additional level of safety. It also prevents the truck from detecting it as a trailer being connected. Not so good is the installation. I had to use standoffs as my F150 has the tailgate step which requires a bracket below the tailgate on the right. This prevented me from using the stick tape for installation of the 60″ Blade. I attached the cheap plastic brackets to the LED strip twice; once for positioning, and then again after installing the brackets with screws. All told, all four brackets have at least one tab now missing, two of them have two tabs missing. After spending $315 for thisbl strip, I expected something much better for mounting. Lesson here is warm the brackets before carefully installing to the strip itself, and the never remove them again. Second complaint is that there is no quick attach harness available for certain F150 model years so I had to expose and thenw tap into existing wiring and connectors. Kind of a pain.
