    After 6 month install. I was driving and it appears the bolts rusted and it flew off my truck when driving. The safety straps which didn’t work shows signs of rust. Extremely dangerous situation. Thank God no one was behind me! After reading the other reviews not sure I will reach out or not. Sounds futile! Beware and check for rusted bolts after install.

    This has rusted thru in 2 years . I have the competitors cover on another truck that is 6 years old and in mint condition .

    I really like this cover but after a year it began to rust on the bottom side of the cover. Now it is coming through the top of the middle panel. It’s slowly chipping away. It will need to be replaced after this winter.

    Only lasts one year very faded and panels already disbonded. Very disappointed in this product American Trucks should provide a refund and quit selling these covers if everyone has the same problem. Proven Ground do some R&D on your product.

    This is the first and only bad review I have ever left here. I was excited about this tonneau cover when I bought it. I loved that it was low profile and a hard cover too. Fast forward to only owning it for 7 months and it is rusting on the outside and in the inside. I called American Trucks and pretty much they said it’s not their problem because I didn’t buy a warranty for it. I then called Proven Ground and of course they also don’t offer manufacturer warranty. ***Buyers Beware*** The customer service that I’ve come to expect from American Trucks has been shaken.

    I have a 2018 Ford f150 with 5.5 bed. I bought this cover in August of 2021. The last panel near the tailgate has started to rust somehow in the middle of the panel. not sure how water would even get in there, has to be a manufacture defect. The fit was great, looks awesome but does not hold the test of time. All the other reviews showing rust issues are correct. Wish I would have seen those reviews back when I got it….If you buy make sure you have warranty that will cover rust.

    completely rotted out with rust in multiple locations. I maintain my truck and live in a climate with no snow or issues of anything sitting on it. Do not buy
