    the product looks excellent no doubt btu the harness that came with the product did not work as intended wound up having to take the vehicle to the dealership to have them installed via hard wire but overall at the end of the 3 hour trip to the dealership i left more than satisfied with the product however every once in a while the drls will turn on and stay on for a few moments when the vehicle is parked and not in use

    This video is the answer to that question. There are plastic clips inserted in the bottom of the headlight, you need to pry them out or that thing is never coming out. Terrible tutorial. Lights are cool though.

    Out the box the lights look amazing. On the truck the truck looks amazing. Install was easy and took about 1.5h. Absolutely worth every penny. DRL looks slick and bright. There is a gray wire on the new harness that doesn’t go to anything. I capped it and zip tied it to the harness. No issues, lights work great. Also the extra yellow plug only plugs into the right headlight, no need for the left.

    These lights are a very nice upgrade from stock. They are very bright and give the truck a very nice look. Took about an hour to install.

    I will start this review off by saying, usually ai purchase through American Trucks but I purchased these specifically through Alpha Rex due to the year end deal they gave me that was significantly cheaper than anyone else offering these headlights. That being said, American Trucks, I apologize for not giving you my business on an item that you offer, I hope you don’t take this down for that reason. These lights are awesome! The turn signal bulbs are incandescent so I swapped for LED and the bulb size is NOT the same as the stock turn signal bulb in these trucks. It will not fit, it’s too small. I don’t remember the specific size bulb I used but I went with a slightly different LED chip size and it works great! I love the switchbacks and the DRLs these were everything I wanted my first set of headlights to be but ultimately they didn’t even last 6 months. Loving my Alpha Rex Pro series lights and hope anyone looking to purchase them finds this helpful. Side note, the Pro series allows you to install your own LED bulbs where as the Luxx and another higher end version of these does not give that option. So if you’re wanting to pair these projectors with your own Idea of the perfect LED then the Pro series is for you.

    They work great thus far. Just installed them moments ago. They’re not blue or an aqua color like in some photos and videos. White and amber. I put in some Sylvania LEDs as well, for both highs and lows. H7 is the size for this housing. I’m hoping to try out the amber LED mod someday as well, via the Forscan DRL turn signal mod. Wish I could upload a video of the startup, shutdown and locking sequence. A photo doesn’t do these housings justice.

    Took me about an hour and a half. First time doing this type of work on a vehicle. They definitely improve the look of my truck compared to the stock halogen I had. The only downside of these are the missing details about making the DRL work with the added cable and they also don’t include the fuse tap(Size: Micro2) needed to make these work.
