If you have a SCT tuner you can buy the PMAS and use the “JLT intake” tune that comes on the SCT tiner. I use that tune with the 93 octane option and my 18 Mustang runs perfect. Idles well and pulls hard throughout the entire band. Can a paid tune get you a little more power? Maybe. But not worth the extra cost IMO. I only gave 4 stars because it needs to come with a better heat shield enclosure.

After ordering the cold air tried to put on no matter the way I turned it my hood would not close. after messing with all day I just gave up.

Well built and nice quality. Way better than stock intake.

Took a little while to ship, but definitely worth the wait. By far one of the easiest things I’ve installed on my car and definitely worth the $$. It’s truly a no tune needed, while a tune wouldn’t hurt, it’s perfect as it comes shipped to you! So far it’s great, I would recommend PMAS to anyone!

I can easily hear it sucking in air and it works great at keeping my car cool.

The intake is awesome, once moving intake temps are maybe 3-4 over ambient compared to 5-10 with the stock air box I was seeing. Only thing that is odd is if you have a 15 performance pack it differs a little from the instructions, other than that the intake went exactly like the instructions and fit nicely.

This is by far the best cold air I have installed. You can hear and feel more air is getting to the motor. If you can follow instructions and a couple of hours, you’ll have no problem installing this product. PMAS done a great job on there fender well unit. For the price and capabilities it can’t be beat without a tune. Everything you need in a cold air.

Zero issues installing the PMAS fenderwell intake. It’s well thought out and installs nicely. The included bracket to remount the horn out of the way works great. The entire point to the intake is to move the MAF meter away from the hot air of the radiator constantly blowing on it. The hot air raises intake air temp values and the ECU will compensate for hot air by pulling timing. It’s never a good idea to have your MAF behind the radiator. or even remotely close to it, as the hot air just blows on the housing raising IATs. By moving the MAF away from the radiator flow of air you see cooler IATs which is better for everything. Also, you never want a metal air intake, as metal gets hotter than the plastic and retains it longer. Plastic or silicon is always the way to go. In traffic, my IATs are always at ambient temperature while moving, and rise maybe 5-6° when stopped at a light, and cool back to ambient within a mile of moving again. So when you see 100° days in summer, you get 100° IATs instead of 130°+. I’ve seen some installs where people removed their bumper cover and that left me scratching my head. Pull the wheel, under tray, and fender liner, you’ll have all the room you need. You don’t even need to completely remove the fender liner, undoing the front allows you to roll it back out of the way. I personally can have one of these installed in an hour. Once it’s in you’ll need a tune for it. The larger diameter increases the amount of air flowing past the MAF at any given breakpoint. I professionally tune via HP Tuners so no big deal for me to tune it. If you do not have a local shop that can tune for it there are plenty of email tuners out there that can. Ortiz or Palm Beach would be my recommendations. I’ve dyno’d their work first hand, it’s solid.

The PMAS CAI showed up perfectly and timely. I had no issues at all from ordering to installing. I would highly recommend American Muscle.

The intake is good. Makes a little more noise when you get on it. Not check engine for the no tune required. The reasons that it isn’t 5 stars is: for a GT350 there is no install instructions and few videos on youtube. The shipping was a little frustrating as it was shipped from manufacturer (which I did not see anything about that when buying) and it took 2 weeks for it to even ship, this along with the constentemails about wanting pictures of the intake from the website was upsetting, they did however ship over night when it was finally processed which was nice. Finally for the biuld of the intake, it would be nice to see a bracket or something to kind of brase/support the intake tube rather then having it free floating. Only reason I said an afternoon is because of the no instructions. If there was, it would probably take less then 15 minutes with the proper tools
