Silica Tire Compound. Nitto NT555 G2 Tires are made using a proprietary silica compound. Nitto uses a special bonding agent during their manufacturing process to increase the interaction between the base compound elements to further reinforce their chemical bonds. This specialized bonding agent helps create a tire with a higher compound stiffness which results in better cornering performance in both wet and dry conditions.Excellent Handling. The Nitto NT555 G2 features an all new directional tread pattern with twin center ribs and larger tapered tread blocks for excellent dry traction as well as increased cornering and straight-line stability. The Nitto NT555 G2’s tread pattern not only provides excellent handling to your ride, but also adds a great aggressive appearance to the look of your Mustang.Wet Weather Performance. The four circumferential center grooves and the lateral shoulder grooves of the Nitto NT555 G2 Tire effectively channel water from the contact patch to provide greater wet weather traction. The reinforced shoulder tread blocks of the NT555 G2 are designed improve both wet and dry cornering grip. These tires work great for normal daily drive. I would not recommend them for drag races.

I love these tires they are awesome on dry pavement and in the wet. Grip well from a hard launch with an SN95 pushing 325 to the tires with 4.10 rear gears. I would definitely buy these again from AM cause they got the best price.

I needed to replace my worn out tires and upgraded from 245 to 315 on the rear of my 04 gt and i must say i love how they work in dry traction but the wet traction is really good as well.
