NT555 G2 Tires were engineered especially for spirited drivers that demand excellent traction in both wet and dry driving conditions. Directional Tread Pattern. The Nitto NT555 G2 features multiple tread innovations that make it a best-in-class performance tire. Twin center ribs provide better dry traction and straight-line stability. Large tapered blocks increase grip and cornering stability, and circumferential grooves aid in water evacuation and wet handling. High-Silica Compound. Nitto NT555 G2 Tires are made using a proprietary high-silica compound. Nitto uses a special bonding agent during their manufacturing process to increase the interaction between the base compound elements to further reinforce their chemical bonds. This specialized bonding agent helps create a tire with a higher compound stiffness which results in better cornering performance in both wet and dry conditions. Application. The NITTO NT555 G2 Ultra High Performance Tire is designed for all 1979-2024 Ford Mustangs.

    Engine wise i’m stock but i have some suspension work and lockouts on all of the rear and still getting wheelspin with these tire

    Great tire, about 500 miles on them so far and no signs of wear yet. There is a night and day difference over the stock tires. They look great on the car too.

    I ordered custom wheels to my spec. Front is 20/10.. offset +25.. Rear is 20/11… offset +45. Front tires 285 35 20, rear tires 305 35 20.. no rubbing, still have a great turning radius.

    My stock tires wore out on my S550 GT and decided to replace it with Nitto 555 instead of regular all season tires. The handling is literally night and day difference. Living in California make these tires ideal for my mustang and honestly I wish I would have bought them sooner.

    The set was on back order, but they said they sh ould be in by the first part of March and they were!!!! They were perfect when I opened the boxes. Great looking set of wheels and tires. Very happy!!! Sales staff was Excellent !!!!

    Great tires for a great price. If you’re looking for a tire that can be driven on the street and the track, this tire is for you. Great for a stock to lightly modified car. When you get the tires you will notice as you role them around the rubber picks up everything. Definitely sticky. Highly recommend.
