The NT555 G2 was designed with the spirited driver in mind for great performance in both wet and dry conditions.Silica Tire Compound. Nitto NT555 G2 Tires are made using a proprietary silica compound. Nitto uses a special bonding agent during their manufacturing process to increase the interaction between the base compound elements to further reinforce their chemical bonds. This specialized bonding agent helps create a tire with a higher compound stiffness which results in better cornering performance in both wet and dry conditions.Excellent Handling. The Nitto NT555 G2 features an all new directional tread pattern with twin center ribs and larger tapered tread blocks for excellent dry traction as well as increased cornering and straight-line stability. The Nitto NT555 G2’s tread pattern not only provides excellent handling to your ride, but also adds a great aggressive appearance to the look of your Mustang.Wet Weather Performance. The four circumferential center grooves and the lateral shoulder grooves of the Nitto NT555 G2 Tire effectively channel water from the contact patch to provide greater wet weather traction. The reinforced shoulder tread blocks of the NT555 G2 are designed improve both wet and dry cornering grip. I live in the Arizona desert and these tires fit the bill to a tee! I don’t race my car and we have no winter. They are quiet and have plenty of traction for my needs. I bought 275x17s and they fit perfectly on the stock rims. Oh yeah, they look pretty good on my 99 cobra.

Good looking, quiet and very good grip. Smooth ride on old country roads.

Old bfgoodrich tires would break loose every time I tried to take off with the extra torque from the kenne bell. These are incredibly sticky and I always feel well planted and safe to drop a few gears and get around. They ride very smooth on long highway trips.
