NT555 G2 Tires are ideal for use on the street, strip and track.Silica Tire Compound. Nitto NT555 G2 Tires are made using a proprietary silica compound. Nitto uses a special bonding agent during their manufacturing process to increase the interaction between the base compound elements to further reinforce their chemical bonds. This specialized bonding agent helps create a tire with a higher compound stiffness which results in better cornering performance in both wet and dry conditions.Excellent Handling. The Nitto NT555 G2 features an all new directional tread pattern with twin center ribs and larger tapered tread blocks for excellent dry traction as well as increased cornering and straight-line stability. The Nitto NT555 G2’s tread pattern not only provides excellent handling to your ride, but also adds a great aggressive appearance to the look of your Mustang.Wet Weather Performance. Ive always been a Nitto fan so I gave these a shot. Traction is great in the dry. I recommend these for a street car.

Seem really similar to the factory 235 Pirelli tires in rain and in road noise but on a good warm day the grip much better.

Perfect performance street tires for my 2006 GT! They do develop flat spots when parked for a few days, but they perform quite well!

Not only are these tires incredibly sticky (I have yet to cross that fine line where they will lose traction), but they are extremely quiet and smooth riding, as well. Once I got rid of the mid-grade rubber that was on the car and installed these puppies, the differences were immediately clear: whisper quiet (they almost refuse to squeal when tossing the car into an extremely tight turn), a fairly cushie ride (even with a dropped suspension) and traction to the maximum!

These tires are as good as advertised! Great tractionoff the line and while cornering! I’d definitely purchase these tires again when the time comes! I would also recommend them to anyone looking for a good summer tire!
