Great product. Sounds great, definately louder than I expected. Not raspy at all, it has a super deep and pretty brutal sound. The loudness is closer to a Borla S Type, maybe a little louder. Had a slight fitment issue in that the tips sit pretty high and was hitting my fender flare. I didn’t expect this issue based off of the customer build photos, but I put in the extended rubber hangers instead of factory ones.

Love the sounds ! my only issue is having to keep readjusting the exhaust to keep tips level just won’t stay level I guess I’ll have to tac them with a welder

Exhaust fit well after some adjusting. I drilled the outermost hanger for a washer and pin because it was likely to slip off otherwise. That was the only problem, other than a wicked drone inside from 1500 to 2100 rpm. Sounded great outside though. I swapped to a 12298 Magnaflow muffler, and it’s much better inside while still having a nice note to it.

The hardest part is removal of the OEM rear tail pipe but you do need 3 hands to install and the kit a one fits all so install the tail pipes first then the muffler and the mid pipe is cut to fit make sure to not cut this pipe short !!!

Personally I clean the system with brake cleaner then prime and paint before installation.

The sound is bad ass, but unless you live out in the country and your neighbors are at least three miles away, you’re definitely waking them. You’re probably pissing them off good. On a cold start the dishes in my kitchen cabinet are rattling, and I park out front in the drive, not in the garage. The dash buzzes at times, and when the engine is under load and at low RPM, such as when you’re in OD going up a hill, there is considerable drone in the cabin. I wish I had read the reviews instead of going by Justin’s review where he seriously undersold the loudness of this thing. It does sound awesome, but it is completely unrefined. Probably great if you’re in high school, but not recommended for adults.

Very happy with this exhaust! The note is loud and aggressive without being poppy, dronie or obnoxious. I get lots of complements on the sound and appearance. Only negative is that the polished finish on the muffler did not hold up to the winter road salt. installation was easy. One cut to the resonator delete pipe and the kit just bolts in.

Very loud and a lot of drone in the cab. I have a 56 f100 with a 302 that has dual side exit glass packs and this has much more drone in the cab. Also had to modify both rear hangers to avoid hitting the front leaf spring brackets with the belltech 2/4 drop kit. Great product and would definitely recommend. If your looking for it to be a tiny bit quieter/tame I recommend getting the kit with the resonator.

I was very skeptical and worried about this exhaust. Didn’t know how to install it, what it would sound like, or what the quality would be. Safe to say all of my expectations were exceeded. The quality of the 409 grade steel is excellent and the fit and finish was basically perfect, aside from a small issue with one of the clamps that I had to fix on my own. The installation videos provided were very helpful as well. Now, this exhaust system is MBRP’s Race Exhaust, which I found out upon startup being that it wasn’t said in the description, and although I didn’t know it was going to be that deep and aggressive, I love it! Definitely a solid 3.5-4/5 on the wake the neighbor scale. Highly HIGHLY recommended.
