    Easy to install. Came with no instructions but not a big deal. Would of been nice if they came compressed for easy install but nothing to bad we couldn’t adjust too. Rides nicer can’t wait to load it up.

    The Mammoth shocks arrived with horrible packaging and the straps were off of both shocks. you must compress them at least 6 inches to fit. You need a floor jack and a pry bar or both, or better yet, have a neighbor who is willing to help. Also zero instructions included. After install, took the truck out for a spin and there is a noticeable ride in back. Better improvement.

  6. NOTLYING –

    The Mammoth shocks arrive strapped but not enough to install, you must compress them at least 6 inches to fit. You need a floor jack and a pry bar for drivers side, a ratchet strap for passenger side or you will NOT get these on. Also use a punch to line up the shock and bolt holes as once this high pressure shock extends it’s very hard to compress while you are on your back under your truck pushing up on the shock. Also zero instructions included.

    First the Name 100% speaks for it self these shocks are MAMMOTH! this is not one person job like normal shocks I strongly suggest two people but once you get that part out the way the quality is Amazing if you are looking for less bounce like a little *** this is the shock you want. Strong Solid design if they had something for the front i would get it.

    I have always used OEM shocks from my ford dealer, but once I put these Mammoth Trail Series Premium, I will never go back to OEMs. Thanks American Trucks.

    It’s an affordable monotube and definitely an improvement in ride quality from stock. Makes a bit of an odd noise however when jumping on the bed to test the firmness. Don’t hear it much inside when driving. Downside is the packing is poor. Shocks straps easily come off. Like other reviews the shocks were fully extended and the box was broken upon arrival. Paint had some scuffs as a result from being thrown around while the box was busted.
