Removal of factory exhaust was a pain until I took out sawzall to cut it out, with a little wd40 it dropped right out. ***Look at the new multi piece exhaust system to see best place to cut out old system.*** New Magnaflow street series installed with little to no difficulty at all. (removal took me 2 hrs, install new 30 mins – can easily be done in less than 2 hrs) Sound is awesome, deep low rumble at idle and not too aggressive when accelerating, unless accelerating agressively!

It’s listed as a cat-back but you have to reuse the original pipe from the cat to the muffler. You also have to reuse the exhaust clamp that is rusted to the point you will need to buy a new clamp. The exhaust does have a nice deep sound to it.

Was pretty hesitant to buy cause a loud v6 doesn’t sound good. This exhaust is fantastic. Deepens the tone and you only hear it when accelerating no highway drone. Super high quality and really easy install. hardest part is removing factory exhaust.

This exhaust system is probably the highest quality exhaust system out there on the open market today. When you install this it is the easiest exhaust you’ll ever install. Plus you’ll automatically notice the difference it makes on the underside of your truck making it look cleaner and defines the stance more compared to the stock exhaust.

For the price I expected better. As always, the hardest part was getting the old system off. After that, getting this up was easy enough. However, the connection to the cats, while “bolt on”, sits low enough that it is in firm contact with the frame cross brace. Also, the tip is welded on, so if you wanted to change it, good luck. Inside sound level is reasonable, which is why I paid for this over many other, less expensive systems.
Growl –
Installation was not difficult but since I was working alone. it had its challenges. For me, the most difficult part was removing the old exhaust system (again, by myself). I had to trim the pipe between the cat and the muffler, but a chop saw made that easy. Growl is mostly between 1000 and 2200 RPM, Cruise on highway is not at all a problem.

2015 3.5 ecoboost. I bought the kit because my flex joint was bad. Sound is a bit deeper then stock and slightly louder. You can’t tell the difference just driving when not under load. That’s what I was hoping for. It’s never going to sound like a V8 if that’s what your after. Easy to install once you get the old system out.

if you are looking for the best upgrade for everyday use that’s better that OEM than this is by far the best aftermarket exhaust you can put on your truck. The fit and finish are outstanding. the sound is great, on start up it sounds like a real truck. it drives without a drone and accelerates with authority. its not obnoxiously loud or off putting in anyway. install was easy, if you don’t have a lift you will most likely have to cut the old exhaust to clear you rear axle and you may have to push on your spear tire shield a bit to avoid contact. When I bought it in 2019 the system cost less than $700, now its over $1000

This is a perfect addition to my 5.0 FX4. The sound/tone is just what I was looking for. This is how the truck should of rolled out from factory. Nice low rumble at idle to a loud growl when you accelerate. We just installed and hear no drown at all… hopefully it will stay that way once broken in. This kit is definitely for someone who is looking for a just above stock sound. Extremely Pleased! (Side-Note: install time was just over an hour with two of us). Thanks again to everyone at A.T. for making this and several other purchases go smoothly.
