    Intake uses the OEM design to draw actual isolated COLD AIR from the grille of the vehicle. Power gains without a tune are mainly in the form of improved throttle response. Paired with a VMP Tune, my GT has really perked up. I’d say if you have the money to spend on it and are able to get a tune at the same time, you won’t be disappointed.

    looks great everything fit except for the top hole on the cover did not line up with the screw hole still looks great

    Very easy to install, I can see some small gains.but not huge.

    The air box for the kandn filter came with NONE of the holes drilled. I had to drill every single mounting hole including the 4 inch filter adapter hole myself. Luckily I was at the machine shop I work at otherwise I’d have been screwed. It was also missing the 2 bolts to mount it to the engine bay. I’d give it less stars if I could. Also has a weld right down the middle of the tube, so it won’t look as clean as the misleading picture.

    The KandN has been in my Red Candy Toy four years and has flown thru my last two smog checks! I installed it when it become legal in the People’s Republic of California. Seat of the pants fells like a mild performance gain. DesertBum

    Really looks good and gives a noticeable throttle response. I would have given it 5 stars but the fittment requires a lot of drilling the holes bigger. For the price they should have been drilled correctly. Also in the picture it appears that the tube is one piece, but mine has a weld going through the middle. It would look better if it had been one piece.

    This was an easy upgrade that looks and fits great! Have always had great luck with KandN products and this was no exception. Would highly recommend.

    Many people talk about the fitment problem they have with the heat shield but there’s a very easy way around it. Start with your first screw and lightly screw it in until it catches. Move and adjust the heat shield as you do this with the rest of the screws and every single one should fit. Performance gain is definitely noticeable for an intake and I do not regret this purchase one bit.
