    Super easy to install. The instructions made it super easy with the pictures, the only thing I needed to do that was odd was I had to drill a hole into it due to me having an automatic but it was super easy.

    Had air raid CAI unfortunately this was my 2nd one as it keeps falling apart (filter) I’ve got rail road tracks where I live so unless I want to drive 30mins out of my way to get to work I have to drive over them even though I drive very slowly over them it will sooner or later shake filter off then it feels like a misfire I kept a small socket and screwdriver n glove box in case it fell off JLT mounts straight to intake pipe so hoping this fixes my issue ??

    Sound, performance, everything about this is great. I may be the only dummy here, BUT if you are not mechanically inclined like myself, best piece of advice for this install is PAY ATTENTION TO HOW YOU ARE PUTTING IN YOUR MAF SENSOR. I have a S197 and almost cried when it started and immediately died. Simple fix though just flipped the MAF over and she ran beautifully. Follow the instructions that come with the package and request your tune beforehand.

    Holy cow what a difference this made. This CAI along with a tune from my hand held tuner (92 performance tune) really woke up this “sleeping giant”. Honestly wasn’t expecting a big gain but once I took her out the seat of the pants dyno could tell instantly. She revs out faster (6 speed) and pulls hard through each gear, the upgrade is dramatic. I think I can hang now with the wifes 22 GT Performance Package 5.0! At least for a few car lengths anyway before hers comes alive. My car does have a catback system but mostly stock with 3.32 gears (whatever they are) however the very next mod will be 4.10s, but that’s for another day. Absolutely worth every penny and the install is very simple.
