    I was in the market for a device to tune my PCM for my upsized tires. The only reputable brand I could find for my truck was Hypertech, which they sold for about $280. After seeing this for only $120 more, it was a no brainer to get the full tuner. This actually made a difference and it does feel like it gets out of the way for a 4.2L. Very easy to use, plenty of tuning options for gears & tire size, etc. Recommend for anyone using a 05-08 F150 with a 4.2L.

    I go to install and it says that I needs an update. Try yo install the update and on 3 different computers it won’t work. Waste of money

    Very pleased with the hypertech tuner only reason for 4stars is that it would be nice if they has a few tunes already preloaded, for people who don’t know exactly how to tune there vehicle.

    It’s a great tuner, doesn’t take long to update if needed and works perfect. Would love some more options like 02 sensor, stabiltrack etc. Might be an update later. Using on a 2017 Silverado 1500 LT 4WD.

    The unit was alot smaller than what was posted. It did program the truck I had. But it was hit in an accident so I no longer have that device. That device was installed on a 05 f150.

    This programmer is great. Has lots of features some tuners don’t I bought mine to turn active fuel management. I can change things down the road as I mod my truck. Love this product highly recommend recommend

    I used the programmer as soon as I received it. Instructions were minimal yet I found it easy to perform the functions needed. I purchased this to disable the AFM system, which it did, and also provided a way to reuse the AFM system in case trouble codes come up. I highly recommend this programmer for ease of use and reversability. I also like that one can specify the exact mph to use the AFM system (and conversely to not use the AFM system). I also gained mpg from 13 to 18 combined city and highway (or maybe the mpg register was stuck and the programmer corrected the problem). I state this because I had been previously unable to reset the mpg indicator. After using the programmer, I was able to reset.

    Received quickly. Used it to change my throttle response, shut off the afm, change shift firmness and change my tire size to calibrate speedometer. Everything works as it should and truck runs better than it did when I got the truck.
