I called Hellwig since I have a 2024 Ram 1500 and they told me this would fit. Easy install and an upgrade where the difference will be noticeable.

Road was good empty, then head from Texas to New Mexico with travel definitely helped with the trailer sway with my travel trailer, yes I have a weight distribution hitch, but the sway Is less with this, average wind speed 15 mph ( Lubbock, Texas) did great headed to Angel fire average speed 65 mph. Definitely helped. About an Hour or less to install, key notes ( have an impact)

Bought this to help keep things in control while towing. So far it is a noticeable difference during my daily drive and I’ve only had a short tow but it feels more controlled. I have less ‘dolphining’ since both sides are reacting in unison instead of independently. Can’t wait to get out for the season. The only negative I can mention is that the end links are just barely long enough to connect. I had to run the out to about 1/2″ of thread to get the bar level. Also, having had it installed for a couple of weeks, the end link threads are showing signs of rusting already which is not a good look.

The sway bar itself is nice with three positions of adjustability, I personally have mine in the stiffest position. A truly excellent upgrade for sure. The instructions are garbage so don’t expect any help from them, they are so bad. The mounting brackets are a medium-grade rattle-can job on an unprepped surface at best. If you are worried about looks plan on prep and powdercoating the brackets. It took about 1.5 hours to install.

Pretty simple install. Took me around an hour to complete. No fitment issues with bar or hardware. I installed on the lowest setting at first and could tell a difference on the 1st test drive. I then changed to medium setting and wow, this truck handles much better! Very noticeable. It’s not a Honda Civic, but it handles thvgc With 2.5″ leveling kit and 33″ tires, very not bad.

A big plus when hauling a heavy load in the bed in a cross wind. It does take away some articulation when going off road due to the added stiffness, so I will have to fab a quick disconnect strut for one side. this is on my third powerwagon and its my second Hellwig rear sway bar.
