I received this Cat back system in a sturdy box, but all of the pipes and hardware were loose inside. Nothing came through the sides of the shipping box, but I did notice that the staples holding the box shut were bent, and the box was sealed shut with lots of packing tape. I took inventory of everything, and only found that the two rear exit pipes were missing from the kit. I wanted to use those, but had no choice but to use the side exit pipes instead. The install went well, and all of the pipes went together easily. The band clamps that came with the kit were sturdy, and clamped the pipes together well, with the exception of the two pieces of pipe before the tailpipes. No matter how tight I cranked the clamps down, even when I reached the stop on the bolt, they would not keep the tailpipes from moving. I bought two 2.5″ stainless band clamps to clamp the pipes without issue. The rubber mount that gets bolted to the frame on the passenger side near the spare tire was too wide for the push nuts to fit on the hangers, so I cut the mount in half width-wise, and had no issues. The system sounds throaty while not being obnoxiously loud. I don’t notice any drone while at highway speeds, and while the truck seems to have more pickup, MPG has basically stayed the same.

I really love this system. What a change. I did have it professionally installed, but I like it. Not to noisy but very noticeable. It’s cool..

I’m not impressed by this exhaust. First of all, it arrived with the box all torn up and the papers inside shredded. It looked like it had been opened before I received it. The exhaust did not fit together well for starters. Both the outlet pipes from the muffler did not fit into the muffler, after an hour of messing around with them I was only able to get the pipes halfway in. The exhaust clamps that came with the kit did not clamp down tight enough to hold the pipes in place, I ended up breaking two of the clamps trying to get them tight enough and ended up going to oreilly’s and buying a different style clamp that worked much better. The exhaust is much louder than I was expecting and has a drone at 1500-2000 rpm, which is where the truck sits at most driving speeds. It sounds mean when you rev the engine and get down on the throttle, but at cruising speed it gets annoying pretty quickly. Overall I’m not impressed with this product, I would’ve expected more for $675.

This exhaust is what I was looking for as far as sound and tone. I love the way it sounds on cold starts and on the highway it sounds amazin, not overly loud but still has a nice growl when you get into the pedal

This is way better than I expected. Sounds great, crisp, and has a nice rumble. It’s not too loud, it’s perfect.

This exhaust sounds great and was easy to install. Only reason not 5 stars was the instructions for install from manufacturer were wrong

This kit is decent, did have few issues with installing it. Not all the pipes slid together like they should, had to bang few of them together. This is a 3” inlet for the muffler and my factory pipe is 2.5” so had to buy a couple of adapters and clamps. I did get it together after about a day of trying to get it to line up. After a week of driving I finally went in and had an exhaust shop adjust and weld the system. Now I’m happier with it. However, I think next time I will just go to an exhaust shop and have them make my exhaust instead buying a kit.

Easy to install and everything fit great. Went with the straight out pipes. Deep, throaty sound when accelerating, quiet when coasting and louder than stock when cruising 60-70 mph but not annoying. Very happy with the sound and slight performance gain.

The delivery was much faster then expected. However it came without the tips. So I had to buy my own tips for it to reach out of the truck. And the mount for the other side fell out once. But it sounds great and works now that it’s dialed in.
