I paired these with the heartthrob H-pipe and the sound is absolutely perfect. It’s the signature Corsa sound, but a lot deeper and with great depth to it.

The exhaust came neatly packaged in a box. The instructions were straight forward. Some talk about problems with the hangers, but I didn’t have any trouble at all. A little WD40 on the rubber and out with the old, in with the new. The Corsa is also perfectly centered in the exhaust cut out holes in the bumper. The sound is AMAZING! Not much louder than stock, but the exhaust note is heavenly. No rasp at all, no drone at all. I’m 40 and didn’t want loud pipes. So glad I made this purchase. I just thought I loved my car before. Now I can’t stop smiling. Don’t think about the price because it’s worth every penny. Support at American Muscle talked me into it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This is exactly the look and the sound I wanted, not much louder than stock with a much deeper tone. Now I can hear the acceleration exhaust over the sound of the engine and without any drone at highway speeds. I had Ford racing sport axel backs on my 07 GT and the drone was a killer so I really appreciate the sound cancelation of the Corsa exhaust. 4 out of 5 stars, I took away 1 star due to the cost for this axel back.

I shopped for exhausts for almost two years before finally making the plunge, and I do not regret it. The Corsa line all seemed to have the best tone in videos. Some people describe it as exotic, but to me, it just sounds exactly like a Coyote motor should. The Touring Axleback is very similar to stock, except a bit louder and slightly more “glug glug glug” V8 sounding. Honestly, this exhaust could be an OEM option. It is never obnoxious, no drone; the only negative some people may have is that it is not very loud for those of you wanting sheer volume. However, I wanted a system that did not disturb the neighbors but also could make some noise. Dual mode would’ve been the best option, but I didn’t like the sound of the Varex and the Roush was prohibitively expensive, so this is a good compromise. It is on the quieter side, doesn’t disturb the neighbors, but roll the windows down and floor it, and you’ll smile ear to ear! Part of the quietness is just due to the S550 being well designed for road noise reduction, because you can hear this exhaust noticeably more when going under an overpass or driving next to a wall. The volume level is very throttle dependent, and easy to control. Also, I really didn’t believe it was possible, but I feel like the car is faster right as you begin to roll. I know it is basically impossible for an axleback to add horsepower, especially with the stock parts being mandrel bent, and even if it did, it would probably be high in the RPM band and indistinguishable without a dyno. I’m not claiming it adds power, but it seems to pull away from a standstill with more power and smoothness. A lot of people think their car is faster just because its louder, but I’m talking about 0-5mph, 5 throttle, just beginning to pull away- not at 5000RPM screaming. Maybe it’s just because I can actually hear the engine begin to engage the clutch, so I can drive it smoother. The biggest negative is the price. I usually just get some off-brand mufflers online and weld them in, they sound as good as the name-brands they replace and are really cheap. But no other brand can replicate the Corsa sound, you have to get the real deal, and boy am I glad I did. This exhaust is perfect for people who like aggressive OEM exhausts. The S550 was too quiet from the factory- this is how it should’ve came to start. It isn’t obnoxiously loud, you won’t attract unwanted police attention, your wife and neighbors won’t be mad at you, but you’ll be happy with the amazing tone! I’ve always liked my Mustang, but now I LOVE it!
