More Power and Improved Performance. Why does improving the airflow into your engine bay matter? Air keeps your engine cool, which allows it to perform better when you’re pushing your vehicle to its limits. As a result, you get an improved throttle response and horsepower gains that help you put more power to the ground. The Corsa Closed Box Cold Air Intake with DryTech 3D Dry Filter offers those gains while incorporating a filtration system that removes 99.9% of contaminants from the air.No…

I had my choices very open for an intake and I decided to get the corsa intake and I can’t believe how my mpg has gone up from 15 to 16. I recommend this product.

Brought noticeable sound and performance to my truck!

The only issue I had was the tape was stuck to the intake plate and peeled the black paint off. Other than that it’s a good product.

So, my wife wanted me to buy this product, because it was less expensive than the Airaid kit. “You know, they all do the same thing so save a few dollars.” I have been to the Corsa factory and think the guys there are car guys, so I gave it a shot. Installation was pretty straight forward. However, do not try to do the steps out of sequence as this kit has a tight fit to your truck and you will undo steps if you try to get ahead. Next, the intake hole does not have a good fit with the factory pipe you reuse as part of the install. I have taken a few pictures of this and will try to upload for your viewing pleasure. Additionally, a sensor wire harness is a attached to the factory box and is not accounted for in the Corsa box. My recommendation is to use a 1/4 inch drill bit and custom fit the harness to the Corsa air box. Once you pick the hole locations and drill new holes; you will have to modify the harness clips so the assembly fits flush to the box. Last, the sensor itself is an oblong hole, requiring you to drill two1/4 inch holes next to each other to fit the clip into place. This may not be easy for those who are not savvy with a drill (Measure twice, Cut once). Since there are extra steps, you will not accomplish this task in under an hour unless you have planned for the deviation I listed. The drive test did seem to give a bit of pedal punch, but don’t expect $300 to give you the thrill of driving a GT350. Last, it appears to help the gas mileage a bit, but I have not driven my truck enough to report a significant increase in gas mileage. Hope this helps.

This air intake works great and installs very easily. Definitely can hear the engine pulling in air and seems to move more air in the engine. Good product

The fitting that connects the whose on broke and I can’t find another fitting without buying another assembly.

I got this for my brand new f150. It arrived very fast and in perfect condition. Warning, do not get ahead of yourself like I did and install the air filter element 1st or 2nd. Save it for last, just like the instructions show you. It went together great, no troubles. You will use the old original intake chamber as it bolts to the front of the corsa box. Looks and fit and functions perfectly, glad i got it.

This CAI appeared as if it were fabricated by a 7-year old with a Toys R Us play toolkit. There were up to a quarter-inch gaps all round the circumference of the factory air duct inlet to the bottom leading edge of the airbox, badly misaligned filter adapter fastener fitting (drilled) holes, and the air filter itself had to be essentially bent / compressed to fit the adapter to the primary box outlet to intake air inlet tube when placed inside he airbox as a prescribed installation step. I’ve been buying aftermarket bolt on parts for cars, pickups, and road racing as well as street motorcycles for almost 40 years. This as the absolute worst example of an aftermarket mod I’ve ever seen or heard about, anywhere, for any application. Do not buy this unit, it is simply garbage. Fortunately, Nate at American Trucks took great care of the problem, getting me setup for a free return and full refund along with a customer goodwill discount on an AFE Magnu, Force Stage 2 XP.
