    I got the Bully Dog for 1 reason, its red. It goes with the rest of my trucks interior. There is no considerable difference between the SCT BDX and the Bully Dog (SCT purchased Bully Dog) I purchased my tunes from a different merchant, the tunes were emailed to me and seamlessly transferred to the tuner. Once the tunes were installed, I chose not to keep the tuner connected to view data. Easy setup, easy to follow, easy to update. If you are on the fence, don’t hesitate.

    Installed on 2016 F150 2.7. 15 minutes to setup out of the box and write a program on the truck. Noticeable increase in power and shifting. Have not towed with it yet but very impressed so far.

    Tuned my 2017 F150 Ecoboost. Super easy to do. Great performance gains, especially in the middle of the powerband. No problems. Feels like cheating. As a bonus, I was able to permanently shut off auto stop/start.

    I can’t believe Ford would leave so much horsepower and torque on the table! I guess it’s for fuel mileage but holy crap this Bully Dog bdx woke the truck up! It’s a muscle car disguised as a pickup truck now. The shifts are firmer I wouldn’t call it a slush box anymore quick and firm. I disabled the Auto Stop start which was a must. If u are trying to decide and not sure pull the trigger for your 2.7 EcoBoost u will not regret it! It’s so easy I had never installed a tuner and I was nervous just follow the prompts it’s so simple. The first time you use it you will have to connect it to Wi-Fi to update it after that you never have to connect it again unless you do custom Tunes. It’s phenomenal. when the truck was stock i was seeing 18 psi of boost now on the 93 octane tune im seeing 21.5 psi of boost and more timing so its nothing crazy or unsafe that will hurt your truck. I could not be happier!!

    So love the boost I get from this but hate that I now have a check engine light every time I drive my truck. Hopefully didn’t damage anything.
