Wakes up your neighbors to a pleasant coyote v8 roar. I love the sound its music to my ears. Makes you want to step on it

Not hard to make a 5.0 sound good but if you want aggressive option that is still tolerable cruising go for atak.

This is a beautiful looking and sounding exhaust. The 10-20 second cold start idle is loud, but short. Once it settles down in a few seconds, it’s quiet and rumbly. When you punch it, everyone around will hear you coming. But while cruising and not driving aggressively, it’s quieter than I thought. You can have conversations while driving as well, but all hell breaks loose once you’re wide open. Did I mention zero drone? THERE IS NO DRONE AND I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE IT! Exhausts this loud and aggressive usually have drone to match, but Borla did their homework to ensure we don’t suffer while listening to that exhaust snarl. Follow the video and have the necessary tools they mention in the video and it’s an easy removal and install. You may need some help removing the stock exhaust as one unit as it’s pretty heavy. Have a jack nearby with a microfiber cloth on it and rest the exhaust in the position you want it to face before you tighten down the bolts.

Talk about “Wake UP” this exhaust has a very nice sound/ grunt to it. It is loud but I also have some other loud toys… GT500, Bikes ect. So if you’re looking for something that sounds in that category this is the one. It has nice tones while driving but no drone noise which is great when at highway speeds ect. So much lighter than stock, if your a novice garage/ hand tool user you can do this your self and some help with a buddy…. Removing the stock I had to cut a section to remove / make it easier for removal. But bolt on your self with some torque tools… make sure it’s to spec and your off and running like a 5.0 V8 should sound like! Wake it up! It can have a “wake the neighbors” or head turn what car/ truck is that sound but a good sound factor.

Just enough (kinda) sound to make the 5.0 rumble for the s-type. I may have gone with the atak cause i am a mustang guy but it is on the “family” truck so think i made the right decision. Tons better than factory.

When I say I have a different truck man I sometimes have to remind myself that I’m driving my truck

This exhaust is loud. If you’ve been researching this Atak I would agree with most people on how they describe it. You will hear it start from inside your house on a cold start. It idols down quickly and then it’s a nice smooth rumble. Absolutely no drone. That’s a big relief. When you get it past 3000rpm’s you will hear everything the Borla exhaust has to offer sound wise. I took it to an exhaust shop and it took them only 45min to install. Only thought I’m wondering now is if the Borla S-Type would have been the better choice for my Ford F-150? Still… I made a great choice in the Atak.

Sounds great but my neighbors hate me now lol. The 5.0 just feels so much better with it on. Wish I got it earlier.

This is an easy one man job. Took me a few hours only because I was only working with a jack and stands. The heat shield isn’t long enough and the tips aren’t even out the back. Would be nice if the tailpipes weren’t set and you could adjust the length.

Just put this system on my f 150 this will put nothing but smiles on your face. This is very easy and simple to install I did it on the ground in my driveway. Uses factory hangers and bolts. Right up I’m extremely happy with this purchase and recommend this system to everyone who wants a very aggressive sounding 5.0 absolutely no drone at all
