The muffles system sounds good for a 2020 Ford f150 if you rev the engine and get on it. If not it don’t make a huge sound. But when you rev the engine I can feel it and spin the tires as well as get a good decently loud sound for a eco boost truck. Not bad and sounds good for the price.

Glad you asked me to to dwell on the product the customer service sucked. The Borla Atak is everything I expected. I have wanted this system since I bought the truck in 2019. The truck feels like it runs faster and stronger and and performs a lot better. The stainless material makes it more expensive but the atak is what I wanted and so I did not worry about that. Great cold start. I would recommend it to anyone.

Really, 2 exhaust systems in one package. Initial cold start, Hyde comes out bellowing, not crazy loud, but good loud. When the truck comes off high idle, Jeckle takes over and all you hear is a deep gurgle/rumble, but if you are standing at the back of the truck, you can have a normal conversation, and not have to talk over the exhaust. At 70mph on cruise I hear my Mickey Thompsons over the exhaust, and I have to have the radio real low to hear my tires. You would swear it was a stock exhaust. No drone in the cab at highways speeds at all. Give it a little throttle and the exhaust speaks up a little. This exhaust wont piss off your family on a long trip. Now if you put your foot in it, Yeah its LOUD and PROUD. If you floor it to get around an old person, you may make them soil their Depends. If you want the attention, floor it, and you will get all the attention you want. If you dont want the attention, easy throttle and no one will bat an eye at you. Yes you can come home at 2AM and your neighbors wont even know. that how docile this exhaust can be. Its quite amazing. Im sure that has something to do with the turbo charges muffling the sound a bit. I could see the ATAK being on the obnoxious side for a 5.0L. Installation was quite easy. I used a mix of hand tools, and my electric impact. The impact really wasnt necessary just to speed up running bolts in and out. My only issue was my aftermarket tow hitch. The rear exhaust hangers for both tail pipes bolt to the rear leaf spring shackle bolts, and my trailer hitch covered the access to the shackle nut (It needs to be loosened, not removed). So to access the nut I had to remove the trailer hitch. The way this hitch installs, it has wire pulls, for the bolts, to go into the frame, and after installation i through out the wire pulls, so I ended up paying a shop to re-install the hitch, Less that $50, so I was fine with that. Other than that I removed the old exhaust, and installed the new exhaust, on the ground, with only the rear of the truck up on small jack stands, the wheels still hit the ground. Only cursing was that i needed to remove the trailer hitch. The new exhaust practically fell together. Great build quality, Great sound, Awesome versatility!!! I was worried about buying the ATAK, but this really is the BEST system for the Ecoboost motors. Not going to make it sound like a 5.0L, To me it sounds more like a worked 911 Turbo. Pretty sweet sounding, and you can hear the turbos all the time. So glad I didnt get the sport model. Shipping was really fast, though Fed Ex made me wait a day longer. They dropped the box at 1:30pm. and I was making noise by 4pm, and that with making room in the garage, and jacking up the rear of the truck, so not bad at all.

First thing, it looks awesome. Gives the truck a more badass look with the exhaust coming out the back. Second, the sound. When starting up, it’s a lot louder than the videos. But I personally like it. I’ve noticed, the only way you’ll hear any drone while driving is if you drive with no music lol. You can’t hear anything with a little music on. Looks awesome and sounds awesome. I would recommend.
