    Quiet and not drone-y while cruising, loud and great sounding when getting on it. Really the perfect mix. I was running muffler delete with x pipe before and was just obnoxious. Especially felt bad for the neighbors. This one is much more refined sounding and quieter when starting. Trust me, this is a good thing. With the delete, the 2-3k rpm ranges sounded like a total mess. Sounded like a 20 year old honda accord without an exhaust……

    Perfect sound with x pipe, loud on cold start, fairly reasonable on a warm start, quiet when cruising but opens up as soon as you get on it. Great Lowkey exhaust when you want it and loud but not raspy when you hit it. Best on the market in my opinion

    Great sounding exhaust. Not obnoxious but when you get on it, wow. No drone and a nice deep rumble at idle. Just the way a mustang should sound. I’d definitely recommend this axle back. Happy with my purchase.

    These have a nice deep throaty sound, but from inside the cab you don’t notice much of a sound difference from stock. I was looking for more of an old school inside and outside exhaust tone like on my 2011 5.0 Mustang that has the Borla ATAK mufflers on it. And yes, both car’s exhaust’s are same set up on them so the comparison, other than one being 5.0 vs the 500, should be enough to compare for sound in regards to the engine size’s (2014 GT 500 5.8 vs 2011 5.0) leading me to think that the GT 500 would have had an even more aggressive tone vs a more touring car tone.
