I really like the ride and how easy they were to install.

I got a 3 inch spindle lift on my truck and hadn’t changed the shock absorbers, so I bought these and it feels way better. Highly recommended, thanks!

I would 100% recommend these shocks to any truck owner. The shocks keep the rear end of my truck very planted. I was constantly having the rear end kick out with the OE and these shocks completely fixed it and more, including a bunch of the body roll. Also, I feel like when accelerating there isn’t so much squat anymore. Overall, they feel stiff but always planted especially when up to speed which is what I wanted versus the soft route.

My old shocks were original, had almost zero rebound and had leaked most of the their fluid. These were easy to reassemble after replacing the mount and upper/lower insulator. The ride instantly and vastly improved.

Near Factory ride but better. Definitely need these when you go with heavier tires.

Bilsteins are great. Prior to the install my truck ride was very bump and there was a lot of give on my rear tires. Since the install the truck feels more secure and comfortable. It doesn’t feel like the rear tires are going to give out on me when I hit a pothole.

Installed easily are are a much better ride will see how they do on 5th wheel trip in June

What a difference man. There’s a stretch of road here that has a lot of undulations and made the front flex one way and the rear the opposite. Now the front still moves but very predictable and feels soft but the rear is planted and feels secure. No more floating cargo box!

Purchased for a 2020 Ford F150 5.0. Prepping for a four month overland trip pulling a small tear drop. We have some sag when connected to our 3000lb trailer and had read lots of reviews abot the 5100, so thought they could improve our handling and towing. Watched some youtube videos on installing (I’m 68 and 90% disabled) and having all the tools, decided to give it a try. Shocks were shipped quickly but did not arrive together, in fact a day apart. First shock still had the white compression strap and that was good. The second did not and was sticking out of the Bilstein box. Someone had made a larger box and stuck the shock and box inside. I will say the first shock took me about 35mins. I struggled to get leverage to compress the shock sufficiently to connect the lower bolt. Work smarter not harder, I grabbed an old $4 ratchet strap and compressed the second shock and attached it quickly. Second shock took about 15mins. After install I noticed the rear sits a bit higher than it did. Driving I do notice a difference. Truck feels grounded to the road – if that makes sense. In a couple of weeks we’ll hook our trailer up and I suspect the Bilsteins will level the connection. All in all very pleased with my purchase, no so much with shipping. That said, American Trucks did give me a $10 voucher.
