Finally found the perfect exhaust tone for my car. Wasn’t sure the switchpath would make as much of a tone difference as it does. Most noticeable under load and really sounds aggressive. Replaced my Roush active exhuast and no more rasp.

This sound very amazing, worth all your money!!! You’ll really get your bang for your buck!

Part of the reason I chose this exhaust over others was the fact that it has an H-Pipe instead of an X, giving it a bit more of a deeper tone. The active feature in this is really cool. There isn’t much difference at idle (although you can hear it don’t get me wrong, but you really hear the difference between the two exhaust modes when under throttle. The construction is really nice and the diamond black tips look great. Overall I’d highly recommend this.

I had the MBRP Race cat back for about 2 years. Honestly I got sick of the drone and one of the baffles broke in the muffler and i would rattle from time to time. I got this system because I wanted to make it quieter while pulling out of the driveway in the morning. I have had people say that inside the house it is very noticeable when its in the different modes. When I looked at other sets up (roush and varex) i either didn’t like the set up or the cost (roush=$2600 ). As for the sound. It is MEAN in the “off” (quiet) setting and just gnarly loud in the “on” (loud) setting, but a little quieter than the Corsa Extreme w/out the rasp). The difference is noticeable, but not going to be night and day. cold starts have a lot more “lope” sound in loud than the quite mode does and while driving the loud mode crackles and pops more as well. Best comparison is that quiet modes sounds a bit quieter than the MBRP Race system (without drone but just as mean) and Loud has a racecar type sound (especially at higher RPMs).

Wanted something louder than stock with the ability to make it very loud if I wanted. This fits that requirement but I would say, I wish there was a little more difference between open and closed at certain RPM levels. This is not to say I’m disappointed though. The quality of this system is extremely high! The sound makes my stock GT 5.0 sound VERY aggressive! Even the price is fair when you compare other systems with the capability of switching exhaust paths from inside the car. Took longer to run the wiring and find a 12 volt source that was switched than anything else.

I’ve done exhausts before on other platforms – AWE ships, fits, and finishes exceptionally well. I dig the sound. I wanted something loud, but not something that draws the cops attention immediately to me when I’m not doing anything. When I open the throttle, it has just the right note for what I want. My only gripe is that the instructions SUCK. The pipes themselves are straightforward, but the electrical work instructions for the SwitchPath motor is basically nonexistent: it’s basically two steps- 1- run the wire down the underside of the car not touching the exhaust (ummmmm okay, what’s the best way to do that? Picture please?) and 2- splice the red wire to the trunks wiring harness and find a good ground (again, what’s the best way to do this? I don’t want to just start hacking away at wires). I have just enough electrical understanding to get myself in trouble so I need to be explained these things like I’m 5 years old. Last thing I need is to create an accidental car bomb with these things. Despite the junk instructions, I’m still really happy with this purchase. I put a lot of research into this and I feel like this one does everything just right. It’s not the loudest exhaust on the market, but its not far, and it has a better note than some of the louder exhausts, in my opinion. All in all, it’s more effort getting the old ones off than it is putting the new ones on; which is a good thing.

Menacing black tips look SUPER mean especially on a race red body. Sound leaves a little to be desired from coming from corsa xtremes

The fit was perfect. Easy to install. Thing is loud and just gets louder when you turn the remote on. The sound gets peoples attention for sure. After CAI and tune this exhaust really woke up. 5/5
