TLDR-15 5.0 near no drone whatsoever On my last truck(14 f150 5.0) i had a borla pro xs muffler, it was amazing just a little quieter. i switched to a 15 f150 due to rust and wanted an exhaust that was a little louder but was concerned about drone being aluminum. this exhaust on cold starts sounds beautiful and loud. side by side my buddys 5.0 with no muffler they sound very close but mines raspier and throaty sounding. after the truck warms up its loud when you give it a little gas or throttle but silent inside on cruise control and just coasting. outside theres still sound but no drone inside. The closest this has to drone is a few rpm spots it gets the tiniest bit of a drone but for how great it sounds and loud outside i would say 9.5/10 for no drone. Love the exhaust and if you think its too quiet awe also sells a performance resonator which is louder. i drive interstate to work even and dead silent at 70. the best way i could describe it is with the windows up its like a car next to you has a loud exhaust, you hear it but its very nice inside still.

High quality exhaust. Used on 2020 2.7 eco boost, super easy install. This exhaust is decently loud, but it does have an awesome sounding tone. No drone. I would recommend this exhaust to anyone who’s wanting some sound to their 2.7.

I purchased this exhaust over 2 years ago now and love it. The quality is spot on, and the sound is great. I listened to a lot of clips of exhaust and I wanted a good tone and not the raspiness that comes with what seems to be everyone’s favorite, (Borla Atak), AWE gives exactly what I wanted. I get a lot of compliments on it and still holding up like new in Wisconsin weather. Install was easy, took me about an hr, I didn’t care about old exhaust seeing how I had a magnaflow muffler swap originally.

Added this to my 2019 3.5eb in hopes to hear it while it’s running. It adds a nice rumble at idle and sounds really good when you get on it. I haven’t noticed any drone while cruising at any speed on the hwy. Definitely recommend! Took about 45mins to pull the old exhaust out and install the AWE.

This exhaust sounds nice the only issue I had with it was that the hangers didn’t line up other than that this is definitely worth the buy as well as the AWE resonator delete pipe

Quality of the material seems to be as advertised, will know after a year, fit and installation was easy, only instruction was digital, had to use an impact wrench to tighten the clamps provided to secure the pieces of the exhaust to get a complete seal. Looks professional after installation.

The sound is perfect for what I was looking for. Nothing too loud while cruising, but sounds great when stepping the gas. I installed it with a friend in my garage but ir took me over 5 hrs since removing the factory muffler was quite a challenge.i feel the clamps that are included to lock the pieces could do a Better job as the ones included did not completely tied the different parts.
