Performance is top shelf. However adjustments are very difficult. Low beams are easy but high beams require disassembly. Left can be accessed by removing the air intake but the right side requires removing the grill and lower trim or removing the inner fender liner. I chose the latter and took the front half loose and ran my arm up to the adjustment screw. My advise is adjust the high beams before reassembly. Again, outstanding performance.

I got the Midnight Black Nova Alpharex and it has been worth all the money!! Complete different look to the truck and output of these lights are awesome! The sequence it does with just turning them on is SWEET! Have gotten so many compliments and looks. Best headlights by far!! Now, the wiring harness that I wanted to install as an extra piece, had no instructions. Plus, there no clear videos of installation of harness only.

These lights fit perfectly and are easy to install. The sequential turn signals as well as the lock and unlock light display may not have a great deal of functionality, but man it adds a cool look. The crisp brightness of the lights are highly functional. It is stated it will take an hour or more. I found it took me a couple of hours as my 2020 has factory fender flairs which is not addressed on the installation video as well as they never address what to do with the gray wire. Note you have to bug it to fuse 10

The install was a little bit of a pain considering my last 2014 f150 was 3 bolts to remove the headlight. You have to remove the grille and upper part of bumper. It’s still pretty simple but it definitely more of a pain. The light are good. I bought an open box so I didn’t pay the retail price. I think they are over priced either way but they are very cool and I get a lot of comments about them especially the sequential turn signals.

Took about 3 hours to install. That includes dressing up the cables etc. I am very much an amateur when it comes to working on cars/trucks so someone more advanced might get the job completed much more quickly. The headlights fit very well and look really good. Neighbors who have seen them are very impressed. No adjustment was necessary. They are very bright and visibility is much better than the stock headlights. AT’s installation instructions were good but the video on Alpha Rex’s site have a bit more information. So, I’ve had these installed for only a short time but very pleased so far.

Since I can’t edit my last review, let me add some time saving advice for you WRT adjusting your high & low beams. Low beam adjustment is very straight forward using a Philips screwdriver as shown in the video on the AlphaRex video, its about 15-second long blurb at the end of the video. Unfortunately, like other headlamps where the low & high beams are housed together and adjusted together, these are not. Out of the box, my low beams were high, and the high beams were sky-high, lighting up the tree tops across the street when I first checked them out. I adjusted my low beams per the normal adjustment procedures, but noticed that had zero effect on my high beams. Looking at the AlphaRex website, https://alpharexusa.com/installation-guide-for-18-20-ford-f150-headlights/ they have a picture with a red arrow pointing to the high beam adjustment screw, wait, what? The screw can be turned by a flathead screwdriver or a 4mm socket. Unfortunately, access to that screw after the headlights are in place is problematic at best on the drivers side, and absolutely not accessible on the passenger side. Drivers side, I was able to take the air intake duct off from the radiator shroud to the air box (two plastic push pins and one 8mm screw). That allowed me to contort my arm down and get a 4mm socket on the screw and adjust the drivers side … perfect. Passenger side, no so much, that required removing the radiator cover, trim piece, grill, and the passenger headlight assembly. Don’t fight it, just do it, I found it super simple the second time around. I simply made approximately the same adjustment I made to the drivers side (BTW, you don’t have to unplug the headlamp assembly, just pull it out far enough to make the adjustment). I then reinstalled the light assembly and secured with two of the 10mm bolts, turned my lights on to check it, and fine tuned it from there. [if you can, do the low & high beam adjustments while your installing and save your self having to go back in a second time.] I took the light assembly out a few times, making minor adjustments until it was where I needed it. Then reassembled everything. Overall, a few more hours this morning, but the adjustments absolutely have to be made otherwise your visibility will suck and you’ll blind everyone on the road who’s coming towards you. Lastly, if you’re hooking up the DRL harness, in my F150, I purchased mini fuse taps, turns out, I need Mini 2 fuse taps … so waiting on those to come in to complete the install. Overall, these lights are well worth the effort, would have been a whole lot easier if American Trucks and AlphaRex had more detailed videos, and would be especially helpful if AlphaRex included f@#k’ing instructions with these $1,400.00 headlights … hope your listening AlphaRex! With the initial installation and then going back to make these adjustments, total time was about 5 hours with what should have only been a hour or so job.

The light output of these lights compared to the factory halogen is night and day. The light show when unlocking the truck is pretty cool.

The headlights are awesome! It would be nice to have easier instructions. You need a fuse tap to attach the gray wire on the fuse block. Did not know this while installing. They tell you to use fuse 36 or 10. It would be nice if the gray wire had a label which said DRL wire to fuse block. On my truck 36 is power and 10 is a rain sensor, neither says it’s for DRL. Fortunately with common sense and help on the F150 group on Facebook it was easy to figure out. All in all the install went great,
