I chose these over the Morimoto’s because I didn’t want to go for a darker look. The install took a little longer because the plastic fasteners that came with the headlights were too large and it took some time to figure out why they wouldn’t fit. I just used the ones off of the old headlights and it worked fine. Also, there was a gray wire coming from one of the headlights that I didn’t know where it went. The instructional video “conveniently” omitted that portion, so I assumed it wasn’t important and didn’t hook it up to anything. With that said, the headlights are great and I love the newer look it provides my 11-year old truck.

I’ve had these installed on my truck for about 3 months now and they are amazing! I have 5% tint on all doors to include 20% for the front windshield so it’s pretty dark on the inside. Never the less I hardly even have to use the high beams! Even driving around NC where it seems they don’t believe in street lights, to include on highways, these have a great throw and are brighter as LED’s than what the stock HID’s were. Well worth the money!

Very bright, they where easy to install, a bit pricey but over all worth the money.

Best bang for your buck headlights. Quality housings, optimal light output and easy installation. No issues thus far no hyper flash, light distortion or LED flickering on any of the LED systems in the headlights. Top notch from ALPHAREX with the LUXX series.

The way these lights look and work is great. My disappointment is less than a week after they were installed, the passenger side light leaked water into it. If I had known this would happen, i would have bought cheaper ones that I knew would most likely get condensation. $1100.00 and not sealed?

Easy to install when you follow the directions. Works well. Lowers the tailgate at a moderate speed, which I like.
Blinkertrouble –
Hooked them up properly and they worked for a few days. Noticed the timing would fluctuate on the blinker but thought it was not a big deal since the lights flashed and signal worked. About a week later right blinker stopped working. Checked all fuzes and even reinstalled the original headlight but still no blinker. Not sure what to do now

Yes they are plug n play, but some instructions in the box would have been nice, especially with the optional light controller. Loving how bright they are otherwise Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I installed these about a month ago. The instructions are a little thin. Some things I found out through hours of youtube videos and a few calls to Alpharex may help someone else. First off, the connection you put in the side lamp bulb is for the LED DRL’s, if you connect the addtional wires you will have yellow running lights. The problems after install had to be corrected with Forscan. A module for this (FScan ELM327 OBD2 USB Adapter) can be purchased on Ebay or Amazon for about 10-20$. All sorts of videos on how to use on youtube. First problem, forscan found was an error code that once cleared the turn signals worked. However I now had hyper flash (LED uses less power and module senses that as a bulb outage). Through Forscan I turned off all the “bulb outage” lines and the hyper flash went away. Basic install was relatively simple, the trouble shooting to get all things working properly was much more time consuming and better install instructions would be of help. The lights are great at night and look great on the truck.
