For appeal these are great! I would recommend if you are looking for the aggressive type look. I would really look into the converter that is required if you have halogen lights. I did have order that part as well to make these work. Brightness is decent. Not super bright. High beams don’t work , I will check my wiring to ensure I did clip together correctly. Overall with the converter it is a simple plug in and reinstall set up.

Fit well, look good, easy install. Just make sure you get the right harness from Alpharex if you have the quad reflectors (like I had) or HID projectors on your stock headlights. Easy conversion to amber DRL’s as well, just unscrew the plate on the bottom and find the two disconnected ends of the black/white wires.

The way these lights look and work is great. My disappointment is less than a week after they were installed, the passenger side light leaked water into it. If I had known this would happen, i would have bought cheaper ones that I knew would most likely get condensation. $1100.00 and not sealed?

Great product. Install wasn’t that bad. I had to go online to get instruction printed. Took me a little longer than 2hrs because I simply took my time. Hardest part is getting the DRL wire through the firewall. Went through the trouble of removing the battery and the tray out to make it a little easier to access the firewall grommet. Once you do that successfully and attach to the fuse box, the rest of the installation was easy peasy.

The light output of these lights compared to the factory halogen is night and day. The light show when unlocking the truck is pretty cool.

They make the truck look mean, have great visibility and the Start Up Sequence is cool. These really make your truck stand out.

Great replacement for my 2006 F-150 headlights that were hazy and dimmer than I liked. Can be wired as DRLs or simply plug and go (quick splice of the DRL function to the parking lights). If your truck is as old as mine, may need to add a simple resistor (less than $10) to avoid turn signal hyperflash.

The headlights are awesome! It would be nice to have easier instructions. You need a fuse tap to attach the gray wire on the fuse block. Did not know this while installing. They tell you to use fuse 36 or 10. It would be nice if the gray wire had a label which said DRL wire to fuse block. On my truck 36 is power and 10 is a rain sensor, neither says it’s for DRL. Fortunately with common sense and help on the F150 group on Facebook it was easy to figure out. All in all the install went great,

I installed these about a month ago. The instructions are a little thin. Some things I found out through hours of youtube videos and a few calls to Alpharex may help someone else. First off, the connection you put in the side lamp bulb is for the LED DRL’s, if you connect the addtional wires you will have yellow running lights. The problems after install had to be corrected with Forscan. A module for this (FScan ELM327 OBD2 USB Adapter) can be purchased on Ebay or Amazon for about 10-20$. All sorts of videos on how to use on youtube. First problem, forscan found was an error code that once cleared the turn signals worked. However I now had hyper flash (LED uses less power and module senses that as a bulb outage). Through Forscan I turned off all the “bulb outage” lines and the hyper flash went away. Basic install was relatively simple, the trouble shooting to get all things working properly was much more time consuming and better install instructions would be of help. The lights are great at night and look great on the truck.

I get so many compliments on my Alpharex lighting in my 2023 f150. These lights are perfect when trying to get that blacked out look.
