Looks cool. All the parts and pieces were there. The instructions were good but not great. You would think that for the money you spend the the parts would line up with the holes. Putting the box and the air scoop gave me a hard time. Then the holes didn’t match the the pre installed washers. I ended up drilling new holes and zip tying them together. It works. Everything else pretty much worked out like it should. Just put it on so don’t know what it will do for the engine.

Airaid has and is the perfect set up for the 2020 Shelby F-150 4×4 Supercharged. They come with a closed air system, but with ram air. The Airaid system makes the ram air fully functional. Awesome product!

Very nice quality of parts and very easy to install instructions were a little vague but all I needed was a 13mm socket with ratchet and a flat head screw driver and 2 Allen wrenches…. only downfall is the screws that hold the induction tube to the box were the smallest Allen screws imaginable and took some time to find one that small

I was skeptical about a CAI improving HP, torque, or MPG. But I have been surprised at the increased HP, torque, and throttle response. I don’t know how much of an increase but I can definitely tell it’s better. I paired this with a TB spacer and the sound is incredible. I would be getting 2-2.5 MPG better than before but I can’t keep my foot off the peddle. Now for the Airaid product. It does not fit together all that well and its a very tight fit under the hood. The screw holes on the scoop and air box don’t line up. I had to bore out one of the holes in the scoop to put in the screw. I had to drill another oval hole in the top right corner of the air box for the wiring harness. For $450, I would expect all the holes to be in the correct places. Not a bad product but if I had to do it again I would go with the Roush or AFE instead.

The performance boost was clear. My cat back dual system has a deeper, throatier sound to it as well. I’ve read elsewhere that it makes a little more under hood noise, but if so, I don’t notice it. It pulls immediately from off-idle to about five thousand RPM. I’m looking forward to putting some miles on my truck to see if the mileage improves. The parts fit very well with no modification needed. I did have trouble with the rubber joints because it was below freezing when I installed the system, but I’m sure on a warm day everything would be fine. The cast plastic all fit perfectly and the product is well engineered. I’m very happy with this purchase. Definitely worth the money.

This adds some style and better function to your engine picking up some HP and torque

Only two holes for the wiring harness… 2018 needs 3 and the third is twice the size in oval form, so you will need to drill that hole. I posted photo where I put mine. Circled it in red, but may be difficult to see. Easy fix though..30 extra secs,

I bought this one over the popular Roush because it appeared to better seal the filter from the engine bay and the Airaid had a much more direct line between the airscoop and the filter box. You’ll note stock filter and Roush filter that the airscoop connects to the BOTTOM of the filterbox requiring air to come into the airscoop and go down before entering the filter box. This one just made more logical sense. Too bad I didnt pick the Roush. For $400 the system is a bunch of plastic that doesn’t totally fit together super well (The air scoop to the filter box required trimming to fit and the lid to the filter box does not actually fully close flush therefore letting a little air in). Also for this kind of money I would have expected they assembled some of this kit for you – they have you installing grommets and other small stuff to get the kit ready to install which should have been done at the factory for this price. There is NO noticeable sound difference. I am extremely disappointing by the reviews, the quality, and the price. I’m thinking of returning this for the Roush

Took a little less than hour, could’ve been 10 minutes if I didn’t have to modify the holes from the airbox… also had to seal the gap left by the two plastic pieces not fitting properly, for this much money it should come out great from the box…. only reason I gave it 4…. I’m getting better MPGs and the sound is amazing. Better throttle response as well
