Ive read these intakes wont improve jack crap for your truck and ive read they will change the truck. Since buying this intake ive now added a aftermarket intake to every single vehicle i have and it has made my trucks and cars run 5x’s better every time. This intake is really nice and simple, ive since removed this intake from my 2022 F250 platinum to install another intake without the big box around to allow more air flow and i installed this one to my 2020 F450 XLT and on both trucks it made a difference in my fuel milage and just the overall performance. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

It helped get rid of some turbo lag and pushed my mpg up but maybe 2mpg I’d still say worth it

I thought I would get Ore whistle out the turbo (I didn’t) but I got something better, the truck is much more responsive and you can feel the difference in power and Mileage.

Works and looks great some modifications needed to install part.

installed the cold air intake and looks great. don’t gain much more than looks and a little throttle response

Yes it is a little pricey however so is changing your air filter every 12k. Install was a little bit of a pain trying to get the turbo boot but once that is on you are just about done. It took a little more then hour to install and that should be expected if you are being careful and making sure everything is properly sealed. It looks great in the engine bay, and with the added air scoop really adds to complete the look in the engine bay. However for the price we just do not want looks even if it does save some money. So what I have noticed, first the sound, from start up to driving you will hear it, it sounds more alive without the stock intake. The response at the pedal is a little better more so at highway speeds. MPG also went up, I track my MPG out of habit before the install my best city/some highway was 18.89 since the install 20.68 I am now looking forward to a long roadtrip curious to see what I can push it too.

The instructions are pretty straight forward & the total time for install was about 45mins. I had a check engine light but cleared itself after driving. I have not driven the truck enough to notice difference in mpg, overall performance seems about the same. Best bang for the buck!

Good luck when you need to clean it. You have to disassemble the whole thing to get to the filter. Getting the pipe into the turbo boot was a chore. If you’re 9 foot tall and have tiny hands you’ll be fine. Otherwise, you might have to climb into the engine bay like I did. Luckily, I don’t think I broke anything. On the plus side, it sounds awesome with the scoop and without the baffling. It sounds like V8 exhaust coming out of the scoop, and the whistling from the turbo is much more pronounced. No engine light as of yet. Not sure if it gained any power, but the sound makes me feel like it did. I wish they had a simpler version with the scoop. I also wish I had the option to get the 10r filter. I’ll have to fork over another $100 or so dollars and end up with 2 filters. That’s dumb.

Really have to get up in the engine to install, so if your older you may need some help. Took a day or so for the electronics to adjust to it, but it has improved my MPG by about 2-5 mpg depending on my speed. Also give a much better throttle response. Surprisingly it is more quiet than the stock intake.
