    Adds a nice low rumble to the exhaust. Not very loud at all. Installation was straight forward I had to buy nuts to bolt the midpipe on, the factory one had nuts welded on AFE didn’t. No drone at all I would recommend this to anyone unless you’re looking for more noise.

    I did this install by myself with a right torn rotator cuff! Removed the stock in the late afternoon on Saturday, got the XP installed Sunday morning. Tip, using a dab of lubricating grease allows the hangers to slide right into the hanger brackets grommets. I’m an ex motorcycle roadracer (knee dragger) so I’m well aware of the benefits of an aftermarket pipe in your rig, but I’m on the street now, what I love most about this pipe is it’s not aggressive enough to pi$$ off the neighbors, but ballsy enough to know it’s not stock. 1st and 2nd gear let you know you have some decent rumble, after that, no rumble, no drone, nice! When you need to make an accelerated merge onto the HWY, your truck lets others know that you have something extra, the sound is oh so nice, and the difference in power is noticeable. Don’t be trying to race with it, but it lets you get where you need to get when you need to get there! I like that! Best yet, it doesn’t pi$$ off my wife. She hates bass and anything else that loud and obnoxious. She hopped in my truck to go pick up our daughter, drove about 12 miles round trip, she never said a word about it, and believe me, if it had bugged her in the least, I would have heard about it. That should tell you this pipe is smooth, and that it is. 20 years of on track 2wh racing and this is my first exhaust mod I’ve done on a street rig. One month later and I have no regrets. I’m glad I did it! You will be too.

    I thought the price was a bit expensive, after opening container, i was thinking OK, install looks easy. Had to replace rear hanger. Removing old exhaust took thirty minutes, had to cut forward hanger. With old system out, the install was simple, loose fit was spot on. This system is very nice. heavy grade stainless, good, easy clamps. I think now price is good. Exhaust note and volume are just right for me. durability should be very good. Thirty minutes on install. Really smart purchase.

    So my mechanics thought it was the wrong one, but thats only because my mother had bought a cheap welded exaust that rusted out in 3 years… Im glad this one is made of quality metal unlike the other.

    I installed the AFE MACH Force-XP on my 1998 F-150 XLT 5.4L extended cab with the 6 foot bed on July 22nd 2019. I’m giving it a 4-star rating because for my particular truck I had to use a Dremel tool on the new mid pipe to expand one of the slots to fit the notch on the factory connection. Aside from that minor issue, The fit was great and a fairly easy and straightforward installation. The sound is awesome, Its not so loud as to be annoying over time but is loud enough to hear with an aggressive deep rumble to it.

    I wasn’t sure what I would sound like But WOW it’s awesome! Not to loud but can still hear it rumble. Has a really aggressive sound! Easy to install. I would highly recommend this System!

    Great quality product and pretty well packaged. Removal of the stock exhaust was harder than installing the new one, although getting the alignment right was pretty tricky. Would have been easier on a lift but it can be done in your driveway. As for the sound, it was not quite as loud as I was expecting, but it sounds amazing. Has a deep growl with no tinny overtones. Sounds like a truck should. Very happy with my choice.

    Nice deep rumble. Sounds good on the highway. Not noticeable in the cab until u get on it.
