    Love the look of this intake. I’m unsure of any mileage or performance gains os of yet. It’s winter in WI and I haven’t hauled loads or taken any long trips so will need to see come summer. I had a little trouble with the intake air temperature sensor. Should’ve installed it before tightening all the clamps. Pushed the grommet through twice and had to take it apart to get it back out.

    Super easy install, looks good under the hood and sounds pretty cool. Lost 1-1.5 mpg. Just completed a 600 mile drive, prior to intake 16-16.5 mpg, with intake 14.5-15 mpg. That was a reason I decided to purchase this, but hugely disappointed. Considering removing and selling and putting back the stock unit back on. No noticeable throttle response as some have stated.

    It made a huge difference in throttle response. My trucks exhaust also gained a nice subtle throaty sounds. My only issue so far is it throws a check engine code for the crank case ventilation system (P04db). It only comes on when I get on the gas alot. The code doesn’t affect drive ability and if you clear it, it won’t come back while driving normally.

    Pretty straightforward install. American Trucks has a video of the install on Youtube or on this site. Instantly noticed improved throttle response. Nice whooshing noise throughout. Compliments the “piped in” sound well. With the truck switched to Sport Mode, it really, really woke up. Lots of fun.

    Very happy with this intake. Can hear the turbos better in the cab now. Little bit better throttle response. Went with this one for the dry filter and the hard pipe look.

    It’s really easy to instal about 15 minutes, looks great and sounds good too, I notice quicker throttle response when it’s on but every time I put it on my check engine light comes on and the code is a crank case vent system disconnected, when I put the stock air filter back on it turns off. I don’t understand it !!!

    Great look great fit. Don’t care so much for the airbox design because it used the stock box but not the worst
