    This is insane truck is a rocket ship I have stage 2 and 3 race cars and on a drag trucks gone when uhit 3rd to 4th well after that ur sailing, I’m couldn’t be happier it’s been a month and my hair still stands up.

    A great pair to work with, the tunes are great and the tuner is well programmed. Changing between custom tunes is easy. I tow a heavy boat and change tunes from performance to tow and back. The SCT x4 makes that easy.

    I bought this and loaded a 91 octane performance tune. Huge difference in power! My truck just leaves all other trucks and most cars in the dust. My mpg probably went down like 4 mpg but it was worth it for a truck thats putting down 500 hp!

    Ok. So here’s the deal. I have a 600$ paper weight. Plug it in and it did all the updates. Took about 45 mins. Then once it was all good I plugged it into the computer. It said device now ready to load sct loaded tunes. Im still waiting for 5star to send there’s. Anyways. Here I am all excited I plug the thing in. Go to program vehicle. And boom! Vehicle not supported…… it clearly said fits 2020 5.0 f150. But it really doesn’t work. So I guess we will see what happens when I get the 5star tunes. Just beware. If you are just buying the programmer itself and no custom tunes. For a 2020 5.0 f150. It won’t work.

    First of all, I’m a 25 year Ford fleet mechanic. My 2018 5.0L F-150 had the typical 10 speed clunking and banging when up shifting and down shifting. I did all the service bulletins but didn’t change a thing. I just wanted the vehicle to shift normal. Vehicle went out of warranty, two days later I got a tune from 5 star. I ordered the 87 performance / tow. What a difference, love my truck now! Being naturally aspirated, it’s not any faster, I wasn’t looking for that. I just wanted a nice shifting vehicle. 5 star changed the converter lockup criteria among other things, and did a awesome job. If you want to get rid of the clunking while shifting, this will make your day. Very happy with this purchase, well worth it.
