I bought a low pro with my 2010 Ram when I bought her new. The velcro on the cover finally wore out completely (weather mainly), so I bought this as a replacement. I had a couple issues with my lopro. First, was the adjustment screws. In the Wa state winters, it could sometimes become a pain in the ass to shut the back portion. Having to constantly adjust the screw became neccessary. Which sucked if there was any snow, or it was cold. Eventually, the screws wouldn’t stay in (requiring locktite). I also have a bad wrist, which made slamming it shut the 50 times to get it to actually latch painful. The next issue was the velcro. Seeing as it was the main portion of keeping the cover down, it wasn’t staying down very well with the bad velcro. So, the entire cover would vibrate at 55+MPH, causing a vibration in the vehicle. This one shouldn’t have those issues. The metal slats underneath not only keep it more secure (also a minor worry with the lopro), but they help stabilize the entire thing and add to keeping it down and not vibrating. The other issue had with the lopro was the straps. They wore out and stretched, making the cover rub on my cab when rolled up. This wore the paint. The Sentry uses adjustable straps to keep everything in place, instead of the stretchy ones. The only issue I foresee is the rubber part the hook goes to becoming brittle and breaking eventually. I think metal might be a better choice in this spot. The cover was extremely easy to install and looks fantastic. It’s easy to roll up, and I love the latching system, which is also an improvement over my old lopro.

This cover is awesome! The quality of the materials and fit of the cover are great. The matte canvas top looks great and is super sturdy. Snaps down securely every time. Rolls back easily if needed. If you are willing to pay the lofty price, I think you will find it is worth it.

This cover is super nice sits flush with bed has great texture to the top is sturdy and you can easily use your whole bed still. Instructions were good very little tools required. If you need to secure tools but still want to load dirt bikes or lumber this cover is for you.

Nice cover. Really like it but it holds water in the middle while parked. Also leaks in the corners. I’ve tried everything to seal it up. Almost to the point of replacing it.

The tonneau cover arrived in great shape with no damage to the packaging or contents. All necessary hardware and instructions were in the box. The only tools I used were a spring clamp,1/2″ socket and ratchet, a sharp knife, some soapy water and rag, and some denatured alcohol. Installation was accomplished without help except for a video found on etrailer.com that was very well done ( https://www.etrailer.com/tv-install-truxedo-sentry-hard-tonneau-cover-2019-ram-1500-tx1585901.aspx ) . Installation was fairly simple following the video. After installation I found that my tonneau cover had ALOT of small aluminum particles from the manufacturing process that were in the various channels and grooves of the rolling assembly. I had to vacuum the cover as I unrolled it to try to keep all the small aluminum particles from embedding into the fabric surface. It took 3 times of rolling and unrolling and vacuuming the cover before there were no more particles being left on the surface of the cover. My concern was that if I left the particles on the surface of the cover that when rolling and unrolling the cover the particles would become embedded into the fabric and cause tears or defects. That is my only criticism of the Truxedo Sentry CT tonneau. Otherwise it seems a well made, durable and heavy duty piece of kit.

This cover was very easy to install and looks great. It fit perfectly with little to no adjustments. It shipped out so fast I had it the day after I ordered and I was not expecting it till the middle of the following week.

I still can’t get this cover to fit my truck bed. It looks like it’s 1/4” to wide to fit in the bed rails.

This cover was easy to install and I like the look of it. So far it has done well in our summer’s and the beginning of our winter’s up north.

Truxedo’s Sentry CT is excellent! It looks great. It fits well. It’s easy to install. And it stays dry. I’ve only had one really, really tiny leak, and it’s only because water pooled up on my tailgate for a few days and eventually got under the seal. The water didn’t even make it to the bottom of the bed. We took it on a roadtrip and it kept all of our stuff dry through pounding Florida and Georgia rains. So if you’re in anywhere in the US, you should be all set. It’s also really sturdy with the aluminum panels. I could probably walk on it. The material is very similar to top of the 350Z Roadster I sold to buy my truck, and it held up in Florida weather for 5-7 years outside in the sun and rain (and it was still fine when I sold it), so with this being backed by aluminum, I have no doubts that this will last a while.

Fit and finish is fantastic! If you are looking for the flush look with added security, this is the cover for you. I was able to install this by myself in about an hour. If I was to install another, I could probably do it in less than 30 minutes. Having a help would be helpful when installing the rails because they must be flush with the top of the bed. At the same time, compressing the foam on the rail at the header to ensure the rail is flush with the end of the bed allowing the tailgate to close. Another tricky part is when it comes time to install the cover on the track rails. Luckily, I read the troubleshooting portion of the directions otherwise I may still be in my garage trying to figure this out. Once you get one top corner in the rail, you must then lay underneath the cover and put up on the rail to lock it in place. The other side of the cover will appear as though it will not fit in the track. Do the same as the other side and lay under the cover and push up on the rail and the cover should pop into place, allowing you to lock the slide underneath. Now you can roll the cover down the rails. It will be a very tight fit because it is the first time it will be installed (I was also in 30ish F degree weather so that didn’t help) and you may need to pop the cover into place with the heel of your hand. Close your tailgate before you roll the cover all the way to the end because like I said above, it’s the first time and everything is a bit of a tight fit. If the cover does not lock into the ends, you may have to do what you did with the front and push up on the rails from the bottom for the first time. If so, unlock it, close the tailgate and then try to lock again. Driving down the road the cover is very solid, quiet, and does not flap around in the wind!
